This hotel is an absolute hidden gem in Athens! It's within walkable distance to the Acropolis Hill, yet it is in a quiet neighborhood, away from the hustle bustle of the big city. You can enjoy a beautiful view of the Acropolis Hill and sunrise from the communal balcony. Staff are very friendly, efficient and helpful. Our room was comfy and cosy. The housekeeping service was good. All in all, this hotel was absolutely great!

The location of Acropolis Hill Hotel was perfect! We loved being able to walk to key sites in Athens (highly recommend the GetYourGuide Athens Archaeological Sites Combo Ticket) & many nearby restaurants (recommendations include Greek Stories, Grandpa Trattoria & Kalamaki Bar).The breakfast downstairs at the hotel was also amazing! So many options & all delicious! While it was great being able to walk everywhere, it stands to note that, as the name says, it's on a hill. Lots of steps and steep streets, so bring your walking shoes! It's very walkable in terms of distance, not so much in ease. Taxis were readily available through Uber. We met our driver, Christos, through Uber (ctzikos at gmail - tell him Rossanna sent you!) and ended up sticking with him through our trip. He was very friendly, welcoming, reliable, and for a flat rate rate of 40€ to/from the airport, can't be beat! Our room was comfy & clean, though there were little bugs that would get in somehow, which was annoying, but not unbearable (we just had to smush a few each day). The front desk staff was nice overall, though not all of them were super welcoming. I mention this to be transparent, but these slight negatives didn't impact our overall trip, and we still enjoyed our stay here! Overall, we had a wonderful time in Greece & recommend Acropolis Hill Hotel due to its amazing location & delicious breakfast!

Overall my stay was great. The area is quite and only a 15 minute walk to the main attractions or transit. As a solo traveler the area around the hotel was very safe. The rooms are on the tiny side but very clean and the internet signal and connectivity was great throughout the hotel. The bed was super comfortable, the mini fridge was convenient to have and the views from the room and guest deck were amazing. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The only things that could be improved is putting some lounge chairs up on the guest deck so that people can suntan or relax, especially since the pool is in the shade all day. A heated spimming pool would have been nice too. Other than that the breakfast buffet could have had more fresh fruit options, but it was well stocked with several other breakfast options.

first trip to Athens
The hotel was okay. the worst thing about it was the bathroom. You have to walk through the shower to the toilet and the shower curtain isn't hung so that it keeps water off the toilet and toilet paper. Everything got soaked! the was small, which I expected, but also very hard and uncomfortable. The patio on the fifth floor was very nice and had a good view of the Acropolis and Parthenon. The pool was good, except there were no handrails and I found it hard to get out. The staff was very helpful and arranged a taxi who accepted credit cards to take us to the cruise port. Breakfast was so-so.

This hotel is convenient for walking to the Acropolis, museum and restaurants in the area, although there is a climb which some may find taxing. Beautiful view of the Parthenon from our balcony. Reception friendly and very helpful, particularly arranging taxis as taxi fares in Athens vary considerably. Good assortment for breakfast. The hotel has a small pool but its location means that it doesn't get much sun, so can be a little cool. I would recommend this hotel for a stay in Athens.

Very accommodating and friendly staff, spotlessly clean and comfortable room but a little “compact”.. Good variety at the included breakfast. Excellent location, 5 mins walk to the Acropolis and surrounded by many small bars & restaurants… Would happily stay here again in future..

We had a nice stay. Pool was great. Breakfast each morning was really nice. Lots of choices. Rooms are very spacious and our shower was enormous. We never did get our room safe working. I asked at the front desk and he said he would fix it but never did. Otherwise I would recommend this hotel.

Excellent location!
We had a blast at the Acropolis Hill, 2 blocks away from the Acropolis entrance, tour bus stop and many stores and restaurants. The staff was really friendly and helpful, they even order delivery food for us one night. You can enjoy the view at their terrace, so peaceful and quiet. The breakfast was included and it has a variety of options and good enough to start our day.

A room with a view!

Loved the location, very close to the Plaka and Acropolis; a 10-15 minute walk to each. Staff were very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable - really excellent! Breakfast was delicious and above what I was expecting since it was included in the price; hot and cold options too! Red wine they sell is fabulous! Beds were very comfortable. A really good property offering a really good stay for reasonable price. If I was going to offer any suggestions for improvement they would be to turn up the lights in the hallways and heat to the pool, even just a little would make a big difference. I’m sure in August it’s great, but in May I think it’s too cold for most. Overall, enjoyed our stay, thank you!

Modern and clean in a great location for Acropolis
Modern, clean and tidy hotel with a wide variety of tasty breakfast. Great location for Acropolis and short walk to both "locals" restaurants and the main tourist areas. Room had just enough space and was very clean and well maintained. Roof terrace with view over Acropolis and city was great. Pool on the ground floor wasn't very warm in April, but would be a great shady retreat in the middle of summer. Overall, a great base for a short city break with my two teenagers.

Nice spot. Clean, friendly staff, very good breakfast, and close to everything. Beautiful view on the roof. Pool was very small, and no parking, but great otherwise. Def worth the price. I would stay again if in Athens for a few days ;)

Great location walking distance to the Parthenon/Acropolis. Only downside is the 1-person elevator. The breakfast buffet is another excellent with a lot of good options to start the day!

I quite enjoyed the Acropolis Hill Hotel. It was quaint, clean, very accommodating and within walking distance to see the sites as well as shops and eating area! The continental breakfast was fantastic and the view from the roof top was amazing!!!

This was a great hotel. I loved the sharp contemporary look without the typical high price for this. We could walk very easily to the Acropolis and Plaka area. The breakfast area was very nice with sunlight. Very well-maintained place. Staff was very helpful. I would stay here again. 4-star Modernist Athens Hotel was comparable but twice the price and not as convenient.

Our stay at Acropolis hill
tayed at Acropolis on the hill roughly $165 per night. Emailed hotel as per confirmation instructions to arrange shuttle. No shuttle showed up so I followed up with a call. Called from the airport and the hotel said since they didn’t respond to my email there is no shuttle and I should take a taxi or I will have to wait one hour. I had booked two nights. Hotel was in a good location. I extended my stay for another day and I was told that they would move me to a bigger room. Well the room was bigger because it was a handicap room which they failed to tell me in advance! I inquired about the shuttle again and then they say there is no shuttle just taxis. Other than the false advertising as main amenities “airport shuttle service” and definitely not meeting expectations. ..It’s ok (just confirm you are not getting the handicap room if you don’t have a wheelchair). Not worth having a bigger room and a shower that wets the bathroom floor. Otherwise… room was ok. Location great. Breakfast buffet clean and lots of selection. View from terrace is beautiful.

I have reviewed internally your comments and I understand that you booked a few hours before arriving to the hotel, which doesn't allow us enough time to arrange for a pick up transfer. As advertised on Expedia website : "Airport shuttle on request" and we are very sorry this time we were not able to accommodate. We always try our best to accommodate guests requests.
