We had two bookings with this hotel. They put us in a room which is completely different than picture. Air conditioning not properly working and bathroom was 4 x 4’. They took money by showing pictures of something and put you in a different room. It was intentionally done. Booked it 3 months before. April 1st to 4th all 3 nights with two kids we felt miserable.

Dear Jaydeep ,Thank you for taking the time to submit your review .We are actually very sad to read this untruthful and kind of insulting review as we show pictures of both family rooms that exist in our property and we would have no reason to dissatisfy a guest intentionally !!! We provided the bigger room of 2 options that consists of 2 conjoined rooms . Our intention was to provide you a bigger room so you and your family can have a more comfortable and enjoyable stay . On your second stay you stayed on the other family room that is smaller but has a balcony and apparently you preferred that . The choice of room was not intentional and we could not have known you would prefer the second , smaller room. Our bathrooms are indeed on the smaller side which is visible in the photos . It is clearly mentioned online that each room has only one bathroom . We are very sorry you did not mention anything during your stay as we could have offered the second room throughout both your stays.We hope you had a pleasant time in Athens regardless .Kind regards,Melina Zisi / ManagerAttalos Hotel

Staff are friendly and helpful. Room including bathroom was immaculately clean. It was simple, comfortable but a bit small but only what I'd expect for an affordable place in a perfect location for tourism. All the sights are walking distance away. The view of the Acropolis from the rooftop bar is just superb. The breakfast is simple, fresh, nutritious and good value. There are lots of choices.

I very much enjoyed 7 day stay. Everything in room functioned as it should. Liked shall balcony with street and Acropolis views, but with door shut room was very quiet for sleeping. Staff was very polite and all were helpful.

Great hotel in the heart of a bustling neighborhood. Easy to pick up a taxi, walk to sites and so many restaurants, bars and coffee shops within a short walk.

We stayed for 1 night before flying back to the UK. Dropped the hire car at the airport and got the Metro to Monastiraki. It was a 2 minute walk to the hotel and the reception staff were friendly and helpful. My OH uses a wheelchair and they helped him into the very small lift and helped me with luggage into the other lift. The room was small but clean and had everything you could need. The bed was so comfortable. The hairdryer was one that you have to keep the touchpad pressed down and that was annoying but that is my only, very small niggle. Our balcony had a side view of the Parthenon if you leaned out. The rooftop bar has fabulous views of the Parthenon and other sights. The drinks were reasonably priced and the staff were friendly and helpful with the wheelchair. The breakfast was fabulous. So much choice and well worth the price. We found a small square full of bars and tavernas 5 minutes stroll away behind the hotel. In all we loved Hotel Attalis and will be booking to stay again at the end of March

Prime location with balcony overlooking Acropolis. Comfortable rooms with safe. Friendly and extremely helpful concierge. Awesome Greek breakfast buffet spread. All this at a reasonable price.

I stayed here twice during my Athens visit. Small old hotel so not spacious. Excellent locations. Had all amenities that I needed. Has a roof top from where I saw the New Year Fireworks. It is close to Monsatrki Metro station and Square and I walked everywhere. Fit my budget as well.

This hotel is located on Athina Street just off Monastriki Metro station. It is in an old building so it is not spacious. It worked well for me. Fit my budget and had all amenities that I needed including a safe. The room was nice. The shower was very small with a curtain going around and the shower are was a bit sunk. Got the hang of it after a while. A nice touch was slippers for the room. The hotel has a rooftop bar and a view of the Acropolis. Staff were very nice and friendly. The hotel's location is excellent. Walking distance to Monastriki Square, Plaka, Ermou Street, Syntagama Square, Omonia Square and you can walk to the Acropolis as well. I walked to Benaki Museum and the National Archaeological Museum as well. There is a coffee shop at the entrance of Monastriki Metro station which quickly became my favorite. There is a restaurant with patio in the opposite direction which has 3.50 euro Gyros. My favorite seafood restaurant Atlantikos was also within walking distance. The Metro station will take you to the Airport and the Port. You can also walk to X95 Airport Bus Stop at Syntagama Sqaure. All in all, a good choice for me. I stayed again at the end of my trip.

I’ve never stayed in a hotel room with twin bed beds but it wasn’t so bad. Everything is small, to include the bathrooms and elevators. These seem like negatives, but considering that I was in Athens Greece and not Athens Georgia, everything was great. Best vacation ever.

The location was fantastic staff brilliant. It was a clean tidy hotel near the metro and walkable to most of the sites. The area is a little run down like most European cities sadly graffiti everywhere. Felt safe walking around at night. The breakfast was very good value. Lots of shops which stay open late and places to eat. Wonderful view from the roof terrace of the Acropolis. Thoroughly recommend Athens and the hotel

The property is a 3-5 minute walk from the Monastraki markets. For people that may be interested it is a block or two from the meat fish and produce markets. Note: not for people who don't like fish. Strong smell even across street.

The staff was wonderful, the location is perfect! The rooftop terrace and bar is a great place to relax and look at the acropolis view. Our room had a large balcony with also a view of the acropolis, the bed was comfortable and the shower good water pressure. Will stay here again.
