Hidden Ridge Cabin at Big Pine Retreat

Cozy Log cabin providing a real deep woods experience, nestled between state forest and nature preserve. Cabin is rustic but with all the modern amenities including hot tub and WiFi. Hiking outside your door and pet friendly!
Hidden Ridge is a cozy log cabin located in the heart of hocking hills. You will love the location and surroundings of this hidden gem. The cabin is tucked into the deep woods and is very secluded. The interior is lined with knotty pine on the walls and ceiling and is very spacious. The couch reclines and is very cozy. and the 65" TV is perfect for movie watching.

The queen bed is very comfortable and it is so quiet at night, you may just put the fan on just to add background sound. .Hiking trails are right outside your door that lead to Airplane Rock, Chapel Falls and 21 Horse Cave. The deck with hot tub provides amazing views, sitting high above the forest. Hidden Ridge is truly a cabin in the woods!

Winter Quiet
Hosts were very attentive to our questions and requests - we have stayed on their properties over the last 2 winter holidays - great location, amazing quiet space both indoor and outdoor. We love being able to bring our canine kids... We were a bit disappointed with overall cleanliness - the bedroom had a musty smell (sheets were clean, though) perhaps due to the small space and the couch had a similar smell - not sure how to freshen up except perhaps a very deep clean of the headboard and all bedding (comforter/blanket) between guest stays - couch would benefit from a light steam clean - I know this is difficult with dog friendly properties but we were just very aware of the this challenge. Loved the TV access and Wifi connections - easy access to all cool Hocking Hills areas - we even caught the winter Solstice sunrise @ John Glenn Astronomy Park!

Hidden ridge gem
Great location within the hocking hills area but an even greater location on the property. All the cabins looked well situated with privacy but this cabin is the last one at the back of the property and has the most secluded location. We felt like we were truly alone in the woods…great little cabin with everything you need. Highly recommend staying here!

We loved how secluded our cabin was. Having hiking trails right next to the Cabin was a huge plus. We hiked numerous trails with Old Mans cave and Ash Cave being two of our favorites. The Cabin was very comfortable and Quiet. The hot tub was a big plus

This cabin was tucked away in a beautiful wooded area. There was no other traffic nearby and we had complete privacy. It was a cozy home away from home. We arrived to a clean, well stocked place both indoor and outdoor. The hot tub was quite enjoyable after a day of hiking.
