The view from the upstairs restaurant of the Greek Parthenon was amazing. However so was the breakfast with all the great choices of pastries fruit eggs and meat. The service was also first class.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast each morning was a great start to the day. Our room had an amazing view from the patio!! We loved to have a few drinks, watch the sun set and take in the view of the Acropolis! Definitely recommend this hotel of yours in town to see the historic sites.

We loved the Electra. It was a great location for us to visit with friends staying nearby and eating at terrific restaurants. The staff were courteous and extremely helpful. We will stay here on our next visit to Athens.

The staff went out of the way to accommodate our child as it was not mentioned on the original reservation. The facility is in excellent location, well maintained and has beautiful view to the acropolis including a dining restaurant at the very top. Rooms can be little bit bigger.

Very helpful staff for first time New Yorker tourist to Athens helped me book taxis to take me for my various tours that had meeting places across the city. Recommended "the best" Souvlaki and Gyros for me though IMHO New York City's are tastier.

Reviewing my experience dealing with the hotel - not my stay. I booked on 14th Dec to stay from the 18th to 23rd. On 15th Dec I received an infectious disease protocol message from the NHS. I was potentially carrying tuberculosis, and could no longer travel out of the UK. I had to report for testing procedures on 18th December. Despite Expedia explaining this to the hotel barely 24hrs after booking, they refused to refund my booking. £500 gone, just like that. That was my experience with them.

Excellent hotel; the staff were fantastic and we really liked the roof terrace for breakfast with the acropolis view. My only dislike was the mattress being too squashy = back pain but that’s a matter of preference. The area was good too, lots of nice little cafes and shops nearby.

A perfect hotel in Athens

It is very rare I feel obliged to review a hotel stay. But this hotel deserves every bit of praise and more!! Again, booking something at the last minute required only convenience so the @electrapalaceathens met all the requirements. What I didn't realize is the rooftop view was more incredible than the pictures I saw online (pics never do anvthing justice). Yes, I was obsessed with the view!!! But the service, the attention, the absolute professional and friendly atmosphere of the entire staff was something I have only experienced in a 5-star hotel in NYC. Big kudos to Nikko, our server…his detail to attention was spot on. We never had to ask for anything, he was spot on with the water, the bread, the timing for the dessert, everything. This hotel has nothing to envy from any hotel in the world when it comes to service. The food was superb, top chef quality. The drinks were amongst the best I have had in Europe. The room was spacious with an additional sitting area I regret not upgrading to a suite with the Acropolis view, but then again we were only here for a short time). Definitely, if I ever have an opportunity to visit Athens again, this will likely be the only place I would consider for 1,000 reasons and more. PS. Now that Greece is off season, the rate was extremely reasonable, but not sure what it would be during peak season. Either way, totally worth every penny.

Staring at Acropolis
Very nice hotel , views , breakfast. Good location.Staff is friendly and I liked the decor. The pillows I would prefer to be down filled for this quality hotel. AC could be updated as it’s not finely tuned and you can get a bit too cold so we ended up opening the windows and turning it off but then just one mosquito decided to visit us ( RIP)

We had a very nice stay. The hotel was centrally located to so many attractions we didn't even need a cab. The front desk service was outstanding. The daily breakfast was awesome facing the Acropolis. Would definitely go back.

This is a very good hotel. The surfaces are clean and the bed is very comfortable. The staff were very helpful. The outdoor swimming pool is not heated but it is nice if you are too hot. The breakfast buffet has a great selection and is taken on the top floor with a super view of the Acropolis. I would highly recommend Electra Palace Hotel and I think anyone will like it.

The quality and service of the Electra Palace Athens continues to be of a high level and reconfirms it as my go to place in Athens. It’s location near the historical district and other areas in the busy city center is convenient, but be prepared to no put up with some street noise.

We loved that we could check our bags in earlier than our check-in time and walk around - as you are in the midst of all of it. Loved the property, the breakfast on the terrace and the view of the Acropolis from there. Great location, restaurant for food, a break or just a drink to wait for your departure time.

The rooms are lovely, the staff is helpful and courteous. The rooftop pool is pleasant. The heated pool downstairs is small and could use some lounge chairs. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious.

Excellent service all round. The hotel was beautiful, clean and well located and the staff super friendly and helpful. The facilities were also great and made for a very special holiday.
