Beautiful Hotel with an amazing staff
Posted Feb 27, 2016
This was the first trip to Greece for myself and the first trip overseas for my wife. The presentation of the hotel was beautiful from the lobby to the hotel. In the elevator, you must insert your key to go up or down, ensuring the safety of the guests. The hotel bar was extremely nice. Everyone was dressed with jeans, slacks or shorts, with a polo, button down or dressy tops for the ladies. The view overlooking the Acropolis and Athens was outstanding. Our room was very large (We had a king) and the bathroom was perfect! The Breakfast buffet is worth every penny and a MUST! The first night we got there, my wife and I went to the dinning room for it was late. I had to go to the lobby and in a matter of 3 minutes, a woman peddler walked in, distracted my wife and stole her phone. Unfortunately we couldn't catch her and it scared my wife tremendously. The staff at the Hilton hotel was so accommodating and friendly it really changed a bad situation. From the security staff to the front desk and all in between, they were so friendly and king. They addressed us by our names when we came into the hotel from outside and for breakfast, they ensured we had enough pillows and blankets. It could've been because of the situation but I would like to think that is how they always are. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Athens, Greece. All the cab drivers know where it is and it's centrally located to EVERYTHING in Athens including the bus and metro.

Dear Joe, Thank you for choosing Greece as your destination and our hotel, the Hilton Athens, as your place of residence. We are so glad to read that your spouse and yourself had a truly enjoyable stay. In particular, your warm comments about our amazing, mostly accommodating colleagues are much appreciated and passed on to them. You evidently know how much such praise means to them! Look forward to welcoming you back in the not distant future and extend once again the high quality warm Greek hospitality standards.
