In the future I am sure this property will be terrific but right now please know that is under construction. No pool. No workout facility. Lots of storage pods and materials on property. I’d recommend calling and finding out where they are in the renovation process before booking. The staff were very nice and helpful.

They were 1/2 closed due to construction, the pool area is full of boxes, the parking lot is limited due to all the storage containers. Otherwise no issues.

Hotel was undergoing renovations when we visited. The floor we were on did not have a working ice machine or vending machines. Some of the bed linens had stains on them, staff was prompt to replace them. Breakfast was just ok compared to similar style hotels.

Parts of the building are under renovation's, which meant some dirty/dusty areas, non working ice machine/vending, limited parking, and large boxes being stored in the pool area. The room we had was very nice and complete. The breakfast and service were great! Close to Hocking Hills popular attractions and two restaurants in walking distance. We would stay again.

It was a nice, clean, and spacious room with a king bed which we really enjoyed especially after staying in a rustic cabin in the country near Hocking Hills. The staff was friendly and the breakfast assistant, Gus, was very helpful during breakfast.

There was some construction work going on but there were no issues at all. Room that we stayed in on the 3rd floor was fantastic.

Large newly reno'd comfortable room. Good breakfast options. Short walk to 3 restaurants. Two comments: all guest must walk by the smoking area, which is used by staff and visitors. The ground is covered in cigarette butts. The area should be moved so non-smoking guests do not have to smell the smoke and staff should be picking up the butts every time they are out there. And, we are NOT a fan of the constant fan on the HVAC system. There is no way to turn if off or down unless it is unplugged and that also means no heat during a chilly Feb night. Great property and we would stay again.

Not bad and super comfortable
The fact you can bring your dog no questions asked is very nice. It was very clean and pleasant. The beds were super comfortable and everything you could need for a shower is provided.. all Dove brand. Evening service was good, morning not so much. The included breakfast leaves some things to be desired and service was non existant. Altogether not a bad stay but if they had a better staff it could have been a great stay.

Extremely Disappointed
Property looks like it getting ready for improvements but it’s way past due. The rate is absolutely ridiculous and can only be considered price gouging. Something was spilled in the elevator and hallway on the Friday I checked in and was still there when I checked out Sunday. The beds were awful and I hope are being replaced. Could smell the people smoking cigarettes and marijuana right outside our window. We were on the second floor. Seems to be a typical hotel owner doing minimum to keep the brand flag while taking advantage of the guests. The staff we did interact with were friendly.

Our hotel is scheduled for a major renovation, which will include all new carpet, complete bathroom remodel and change in the color scheme of the hotel. This large-scale renovation will start in November, this year and take approximately 5 and a half months. The items you mentioned regarding cleanliness and quality of the room will be addressed with our Maintenance Engineer.

I would like to first state that my normal experience with Holiday Inn Express is much better than this hotel. The staff did their best but after having to move to a second room because the TV didn't work (and the remote was missing), the second room was very cold and hard to adjust, the TV remote didn't work and the HDMI inputs were apparently disabled. This left us with no real entertainment unless we watched shows on our laptop which we did. The breakfast included was very good and fresh. Overall this stay was annoying. I would not recommend this hotel.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. It could use updating, but I noticed a sign at the front desk that they are working on that. We were there on a weekend and the breakfast area was so busy. The lady working it could've used some help keeping it stocked. Overall, I would stay there again and would recommend.

Very nice clean hotel, the beds were comfortable. The only con I had was that breakfast didnt start until 7 AM on the weekend, we were a group of 4 and some were sleeping wanted to get coffee without waking them up.
