We stayed in this hotel when we went to and came back from Santorini. The hotel made the arrangements each time so that we could have a ride to and from the port (free of charge). The breakfast is very reasonable at 9 Euro (per person) and the food was excellent! I definitely recommend this place, especially if you're planning a trip to the islands. H

The shower didn't work properly with the valve selecting the shower head or the wand not working consistently and the drain being extremely slow. Also, the night we were there was extremely noisy due to neighborhood celebrations of a soccer championship. The noise inside the building carried from floor to floor.

The hotel was very clean and nicely updated. The elevator was VERY tiny making it difficult to get luggage up and down. We used the narrow marble spiral staircase quite a bit, but with caution. The bathroom was updated beautifully, however, the tub and floors were very slippery when wet. There were no grab bars in the tub/shower area, so there was nothing to hold to to keep from falling.

Small boutique hotel that has amazing customer service. Rooms small, it completely redone and a phone in each room for free access to make calls in area for reservations to things. Free water in frig is a huge plus. Walk two blocks to waterfront and great small restaurants. Free shuttle to pier and near trains. Will definitely stay again.

Great hotel!
This was my first time staying here but it wont be my last. As a frequent traveller to Greece I often need a hotel for 1/2 nights in Pireaus before an onward journey. This is by far the best of the hotels I have used in Pireaus. Good situation very close to the marina, great access to shops, tavernas, and a great area within Pireaus. Very clean rooms, well decorated with a good range of amenities. Helpful and friendly staff. An unexpected bonus is the free shuttle to the port...i would usually have walked, but at 6.45am, a shuttle was very welcome. This was a winter stay, but if you were here in the height of the season and don't know the area and given how rammed Pireaus gets (and it is a very large port), then this shuttle would be wonderful. All in all, it's a very good deal. Highly recommended.

Great location. Close to marina, restaurants, shopping. Excellent staff: Maria was very helpful before our stay answering questions and arranged a flawless transfer from the airport to the hotel. Also, the daytime desk attendant (I’m sorry I don’t know her name) went out of her way for us to find a place that did photocopying. Good selection of items for breakfast. Attentive service during breakfast. Premises nice and clean. Would definitely return and recommend to others.

Overnight Stay Before Cruise
The entire staff was very friendly, helpful, accommodating, and courteous. The service was excellent. The location was convenient for walking to shops and restaurants. The ride to the cruise ship terminal was a great added service. I enjoyed the stay and would recommend to friends and family visiting Athens.

What a great place to stay if you're going on a cruise! Convenient to the port, nice breakfast available, good Wi-Fi, and wonderful service and friendliness of the staff. I cannot recommend highly enough!!

The Phidias is a gem in Piraeus and an excellent place to "decompress" after a long flight before embarking on a cruise. George was waiting for us at the customs exit, even though our flight was 1-1/2 hours early. (We had made arrangements for airport transportation with the hotel before we left and the charge is E95.) We arrived at the hotel before 11am, and our room was immediately available. Our room had a comfortable queen bed and a sofa bed (which could have been collapsed into a sofa if we had asked), as well as a chair, refrigerator and hot water service for making coffee or tea. The bathroom was spacious but had limited area around the sink for toiletries and other items women need when making-up in the bathroom. Also the lighting was not suitable for applying make-up, a common problem with many hotel rooms. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. What really set this place apart, however, was its location, just a block away from the inner marina with many (outdoor!) restaurants ringing it with fabulous food at reasonable prices. There were also many drug and convenience stores/kiosks on the way. There is also a great archaeological museum about 4 blocks away with many outlet shops along the way. In summary, if cruising out of Piraeus again, I would definitely stay at the Phidias.

This was a perfect spot for us to stay the night before our cruise. We took the express bus from the airport to the port, walked 10 min and found the hotel. It's literally a 2 min walk to the Harbourfront where there's everything you could want: restaurants, takeaway, ships, a grocery store, Starbucks, pharmacies. I even got my nails done and my husband went to the barbers'. It was ideal.

We stayed in a regular quad room with a large bed, two smaller mattresses which doubled as a sofa. Nice bathroom. Fairly quiet even with loud guests slamming the doors but thankfully, not between midnight and 7 am so you had the opportunity to sleep. Transportation via a van is available from the x96 bus stop and also takes you to the port for your cruise. Plan ahead - Greece has a lot of traffic. Our shuttle was late but we still made it to the port on time. Although our room was comfortable and perfectly adequate- there was one problem with it. It was a standard quad and we booked and paid for the superior quad. This included a king bed and sofa (an actual sofa), and was much larger in size than the standard version. We called down to the lady who checked us in and asked if our room was a superior quad- she replied “yes”. I looked up the photos on the website, and sure enough, our room looked just like the standard quad room pictured online. The photos depicting the superior quad did not match the look of our room. Because of this error, I have to take a star away from the rating I am assigning. Bottom line, I did not get what I paid for. I was really looking forward to staying in the biggest and the best. Oh, well.

Lovely one night stay before a cruise. Our flight was delayed so we didn’t get in till late but the front desk staff was so kind and wonderful. Super helpful and arranged our transportation to the port the following morning very easily. We did not eat breakfast as we opted to sleep in after 24 hours of travel but it looked wonderful! Would highly recommend staying here!

Truly a unique property I would never had found except for researching on several travel sites including Expedia. The property is tucked into a side street with very helpful employees who were immediately outside to help with our luggage and transport us to our awaiting room. Check in was flawless. The elevator is just large enough for two people, and we are still amazed how the desk clerk got all our luggage to our floor in one trip!! The room was small but very adequate for the two of us. Immaculately clean. Your could buy breakfast if you cared to for 9 euros.
