Just a place to lay your head

If you are looking for a clean place to lay your head after a long drive, this hotels serves that purpose. No frills or luxury. Near a hospital, so sirens are a regular occurrence. Included breakfast is nothing to write home about, but may be sufficient if you are in a hurry.

Not worth the $$ for a Game Day Weekend!

Run down motel with tiny rooms. Sunday morning staff was rushing us out by 9:00 AM. No extra linens in rooms and bathrooms are smaller than small. NOWHERE near worth the price they charge for a UGA Game Day weekend!

Convenient and Clean Hotel

The location was great. The room was nice. My only complaint was the price. It was very expensive due to the UGA football game that was held the same day as our stay.

Not worth staying...but very friendly staff

Pros: Friendly staff and clean towels. Decent location 2.5 miles from campus
Cons: Rooms have paper thin walls and you can hear everything from causal conversations to more...Outside patio was littered in cigarette butts that no one had cleaned up. I understand its Auburn weekend but for over $300/night so utterly disappointing

Nice hotel in a good area

Cons: It was good
Came to do work at the University of Georgia. This hotel is only 8 minutes drive away in a very nice area with lots of food places and such. Enjoyed being there, clean, simple, good if you need to come in for one night leave and look for a cheap place.

Do not go there!

Pros: The bed was comfortable.
Cons: Poor customer service.
Location: Athens, Georgia ----nothing to do
Check in 3pm, told to call ahead to have room ready. In town for wedding at 4pm, called ahead at 12 pm and 2 pm, unable to check in until after wedding. Booked double room, double bed, did not have double room, and it was a smoking room, should have been none smoking. Room was not ready because housecleaning took more than 4 hours to clean, and room was old, and poorly cleaned. Customer service was poor, no ink for printer, could not print out forms for signatures, or copy drivers license. Continental breakfast was slim, many locals in eating food. I will never go to one again.

Terrible experience!

Where do I begin? The rooms are old but appear partially updated. The sheets seemed clean but that was about the only thing. The toilet wouldn't flush! Some of the towels looked as if they had been used. The soap in the bathroom had already been opened when we arrived. The room door handle was broken. The room keys of the guests before us were still laying on the table in the room when we got there. There were numerous guests in the office complaining of problems while we were checking in. Every time we left our room whether to go out to dinner or just to retrieve something from the car, our room key would not work when we returned. We would have to walk all the way to the office to get them to fix it. The lady in the office didn't seem to care. She would just fix the keys & say that they were just bad keys. We were hesitant to stay here but ended up staying because it was the only room we could find. Everything else was booked. Next time, I will drive to another town. I learned my lesson on this one. Never again!

Condition very poor. Bugs in hotel. Leak in room ceiling.
