We booked a room with a view and was presented with a room on the first floor with a great view of the bushes. Peeping through the bushes was the pool. Not what I had in mind given the rate. When I asked about the room with a view I was told only the panoramic viewed rooms have views. Hotel itself ...
The hotel is central to all the sights. Everything is in walking distance. It is a beautiful hotel with great rooms and staff. The rooftop bar is a must- the views of the Acropolis are fantastic.
A little over a mile walk from the downtown action but close to bus transportation. Quiet area. Nice room. Big variety of food at breakfast. Comfortable lobby area.
John at the hotel was ever so helpful in guiding me thru the hotel and providing information about nearby attractions as well as general tips on walking around Athens. I had a lovely stay in Athens - many places are walking distance from the hotel.
The hotel provided the comforts of home and the hospitality of friendly staff. The room was smaller than expected but well equipped. Proximity to the Acropolis and other historic items was a definite plus.
Perfect location, minute from everything, great staff, good price & quality service
It exceeded our expectations. Centrally located within walking distance from all major attractions. The sgaff is very professional and Accommodating. Excellent breakfast (great coffee)
Amazing ... Felt like genuine Athens ..not a typical hotel feel . Staff sincerely interested in you...felt more like being a honored guest in a beautiful home than a customer . Location is perfect with a short walk you can get to most everything Taverna located right next door is a treat as well. ...
Close to metro, major sites and restaurants. Would highly recommend!
Nice boutique hotel - centrally located - comfortable -
The highlight was the friendliness of the staff and the extended breakfast hours. The quality of the same was great! Bathroom size was somewhat constricted. Overall, I strongly recommend Plaka hotel to anyone visiting Athens.
Overall a close to excellent experience. Courteous and friendly front desk. Very large room. I asked for directions to Niarchos Foundation via Metro, but I wasn’t told it’s a 40 minute walk from Filaro stop. From there I took a taxi which was 4€.
I was only there for the night to catch a flight out of Athens was located in a nice little town setting on the water with a nice dining area. Staff is very accomidating welcoming..
Nice hotel near Acropolis, the room had a view to the Acropolis. The room had a espresso machine and nice bed. We got complementary fruit, bottle water and a big chocolate egg. The lol cation was close to one of those two level busses that take you around the city with an audio tour.
The hotel had an amazing and different service where you will find in your room a mibile device connected to the internet and you can take it with you during your stay and stay connected to the internet. They also mentioned that you can also make free calls. The location is good near the metro station ...
We enjoyed the location more than anything. We like to walk ans it was easy to from the hotels centric location. Staff was okay, most was not very friendly, but I was fine with that. More genuine smiles would have been Nice! The view of the pantheon made it all worth it!
The walls are quite thin. So we could hear noise and other people being loud through most of the night. Room was decently clean.
Wonderful location just a 10 minute walk to the Acropolis, with plenty of dining options all around. The bathroom could have been improved though as the shower was not enclosed and that caused water to spray over the slippery tile floor. Also, there is virtually no shelf or counter space in the bathroom. ...
This hotel is in the perfect location in the heart of the Plaka. We were only a few minutes walk to the side entrance to the Acropolis, the Plaka shopping/eating district, and Hadrian's arch. Another 20 minutes got us to Syntagma Square and the Ancient Agora. Staff were uniformly helpful, informative, ...
The atea where the hotel is lovely. It is near the acropolis and museum. There are many restaurants and shops in the area. Breakfast on the roof top was wonderful. Our room was spacious , very clean and had a balcony. Our stay at the hotel was excellent. All of our needs were met. The staff was very ...
