Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was lovely. Hotel was really handy for main railway /metro station giving easy access to the whole network.

On arrival to the hotel I was surprised about how terrible the area looks it's a pity as Athens is really beautiful and full of life. So many cultures intertwined. The hotel is absolutely perfect in every other way. We got a great upgrade to a massive suite. And enjoyed using the pool. Staff were extremely helpful and food was good.

Rooms were clean but the finishing was not good. The toilet was very small and you couldn't sit properly on the toilet seat because of the awkward positioning of the toilet paper hanger. The hotel is in a very shady area and requires a 15-20min walk to get to the city center. It was overlooking apartment buildings and you couldn't open the curtains as people can literally see you.

We had a ferry trip to Santorini canceled at last minute. Already checked out of hotel room to go to the port. We needed a room again, the staff at Novotel was so nice and accommodated us, checked us in the same room, at the same nightly rate. Very appreciated!

Mold on the bathroom ceiling, peeling bathroom ceiling paint, broken tolet flush, stained carpet in the room, smelly hallway. That area resembles third world, overwhelming smell of pee and feces in the streets, ran down buildings with "graffiti". Really bad. This does not look like a captial of an EU country.

Lovely hotel but in a bad area where you couldn’t really walk about without having to be cautious.Fantastic staff and pool area fantastic that made you forget your surroundings.A pleasurable stay.

Do not recommend. The hotel is poorly located far from center and many homless around the place. Not enough staff at front desk. Room not clean enough. Price was high. Not terrible but wouldn’t come back.

Great hotel in a rough area. Surrounding area really run down. Majority of staff were great. Had an issue at breakfast, paid for 4 guest breakfasts however the matron taking room numbers had me down as 1 paid breakfast, issue resolved but took some time and embarrassment whilst on a busy schedule. Overall good hotel.

Very well located in the center of Athens. Service is great. Breakfast option is amazing. The rooftop pool is excellent. The view of the Acropolis from the rooftop restaurant is amazing. The neighborhood around is ok, but anyway you will hang out elsewhere. Overall. Amazing option with a great price

My family (2 adults & 2 early teens) stayed at the Novotel for 4 nights. The staff are very friendly. Rooms are small but functional. Breakfast was good. The area is not good but the location is good so taxis to the city centre cost between €4 and €7. Pool area was a huge hit. I would recommend it to friends. And we would stay again.

Great deal for the money however, not the best neighborhood. Also need to take a cab everywhere to get to the main attractions and the cab drivers are not overly accommodating or accessible. I would still stay here again though.

Very nice hotel. Good location, rooftop pool is good and has great views over the city. Only issue was that the mattress of the sofabed was not suitable for anyone but a child. Other than that, a great stay. Breakfast was good too.

The hotel and it's amenities are great. It was very comfortable stay. The neighborhood wasn't the greatest, not many options for restaurants and wouldn't walk out at night on your own.

The hotel and its facilities were quite good, clean well maintained good dining options and lovely rooftop pool/bar/restaurant. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I was surprised there were no vending machines nor food/snacks in gift shop. The neighborhood was not particularly nice, we were told it was somewhat unsafe and local transportation options were limited. I would not choose this property for a future visit due to the neighborhood.

The AC in our room was not working, inspite of calling guest service they did not address the issue. all they said was to close all the windows and it will take few hrs to get cold. we spent 24 hrs in that room and it was not cold at all and we had to adjust in hot temp. did not expect this from novotel.

Bathroom had hair and did not feel clean. Room was a bit shabby, carpets could be changed. Breakfast was great. Staff was very professional. However, hotel located in a bad area where you cannot walk safely after dark. I will not stay there again.

The hotel is very good but the neighborhood is a bit uncomfortable to walk at especially at night. The hotel is nice and very close to the Metro station about 7 min walk
