Convenient for port and comfortable
A clean tidy room with acomfortable bed and air conditioning. The bathroom was very small, and the toilet alcove would be a squeeze for a larger person. But otherwise the bathroom was fine. The hotel is conveniently near the Port Gate for ferries to the Cyclades. Very good value

I will probably stay again. Good value for money. Very good location in the heart of Piraeus. Next to a beautiful small park. Clean. Well preserved. Pleasant staff except the experience I describe below. But a few tweks are badly needed.. Parking in the area difficult to impossible but since I always returned late from my meetings it was not a problem The second evening & the fourth morning internet did not work. Was promised this was temporary & would be fixed. Very annoying when your work depends on the internet. Thankfully a cafe nearby (Queens) had uninterrupted internet on all five days I went there Fixed work table cramped & low. I asked the young guy at reception if I could borrow a desk that seemed perfect for my needs, which I had seen on the 2nd floor serving no other purpose other than someone asking to use it, but he was negative to the point of being extremely annoying. Upon my insistence, he finally spoke to whomever he had to & the desk made it into my room which allowed me to work. Jesus! A primer on customer service for the late shift crew would be nice The phone did not work. Terrible noise prevents you from talking to the reception or anyone for that matter. A new device from the 21st century would be nice The room had mosquitos & acquired several bites during my stay The pillows were the hard kind. I did not bother asking for the soft kind so as to avoid the kind of experience I described above Buy your own shampoo No international TV stations

If you are looking to travel back to 1974 in a time capsule, this is your place. The 74' era vintage authentic decor is true throwback while reminding you of Richard Nixon's resignation, Germany winning the World Cup with Captain Franz Beckenbauer and The Rumble in the Jungle between Muhammad Ali and George Foreman. If, by chance, you are looking for modern features, we might suggest another hotel.

Stay in Piraeus and stay here!
I like staying in Piraeus. It's more affordable than Athens and on the sea, with good restaurants/cafes and (of course) the location of the port. This hotel is my #1 choice in Piraeus.

The plus is the price for the area but the rooms are small. The breakfast is ok as a European Breakfast . They say they have a restaurant and they do not have one. Reception is not the most helpful with just points and shrugs. TV only gets 4 channels all in Greek

A charming, unfussy old hotel in very serviceable condition. Staff were helpful and friendly, and the location's good for ferry travellers–quite a noisy neighbourhood though. Don't expect a perfectly quiet night.

everytime you leave the room you must give your key to reception regardless of how long you are going they will demand it be left. Apply this to every other element of this hotel and needless to say we won’t be back. Dirty room, warm water not hot for a shower and the continental breakfast left me speechless.

Quick 1 night stop over waiting for the santorini ferry. No early check in (sometimes hotels let you, this one a definite no) Was desperate for a shower, didn’t have one as condition of facilities battered and not pleasant looking. Bed comfortable though. Adequate for walking distance to ferry providing you check out which gate you need to depart from or you could walk further than expected

It was a good stay. Overall happy. I did have to buy an extra night though because I called to ask if I could book online (it was 0100) and would I be able to stay and leave in the morning, the guy said yes; when I arrived he said I couldn’t. Apart from that it was fine. No hot water in shower for first two days but then it worked on 3rd day.

The hotel is very clean and the staff are polite. However, in September Greece is hot and the hotel controls the room temperature from the main lobby. The room can get hot and when I called in the middle of the night asking for assistance I was told that I did not know how to work the a/c. This is not true - the room’s a/c is controlled by the hotel and I had to ask several times about the a/c bz it was too hot. I had to leave because I needed sleep. The staff were all very good and it is very clean.

Pretty basic hotel but there is a very good South American bar nearby. Retractable roof and great music underneath a massive mural of Freda Carlo. Breakfast also poor, warm coffee- won't make an omelette- if you see what I mean. I expected better of it.

The hotel lobby and staff were fine but the room was very awkward and dark. The bed comforter looked stained, the furniture was extremely awkward and in the way off the wall. There was also an odd sauna door in the bathroom that seemed extremely creepy! Would not recommend staying here.

Loved the gardenias
Close to ferry terminals. The man who checked us in was hilarious and super nice. The gardenias in the very nice lobby smelled amazing. The room was simple and small, shower was tiny, the beds fine. We just needed a place to crash, and it was fine for that.

Close to the port of piraeus
Great location in centre of piraeus opp a park so nice views on park side rooms. I needed to be in piraeus so it suited me. It is a good no frills budget friendly hotel. Don't expect super comfy beds or nice showers with lux gels etc. Rooms are very clean; beds are okay, location is great, reception staff are friendly.

Perfect location in Piraeus, very good service
We decided to spend one night at this hotel in Piraeus as a convenient proximity to the port. It was a good decision and the location of the hotel is a great advantage. Service and information provided by the staff was really good.

Great Location
This is a well situated hotel in the Piraeus neighborhood of Athens. It is a close, colorful 15 minute walk past the bustling cruise port to the Metro station which will take you all over the city. It is also 15 minutes in the same direction to the railroad station. There is a lovely small craft marina about 8 minutes away which is surrounded by a good variety of restaurants including a sushi bar. The staff worked hard to make sure I was satisfied with the room and were helpful with keeping my bag securely stored each day I was out in the city. They were knowledgeable about bus location and hours of service for my trip to the airport. The room was a good size for me.
