Appeared to be in disrepair….. not clean. Noisy in the parking lot at night. No sheets for the sofa bed….either on the bed or in the closet. Had to go to front desk and ask for them. Limited breakfast…no milk to drink or decaf coffee. very expensive…$250/night would have expected about $89/night given the location and the condition of the property.

Stefan the night lead was such a gem and made a really bad day so much better and easier for us. I hope he continues to prosper and grow in this workplace if he so desires! He is very tactful and polite while also sticking to boundaries and comes up with solutions before giving up. A true gentleman! This is a great place to just relax for a night or two

Overall the property was clean, reasonable priced and the staff was pleasant. The room, however. Smelled of cigarette smoke...and not just a hint....the air was saturated with smoke. The house staff HAD to have smelled it, when mentioned to front desk staff...clueless...I wanted to make sure they didnt charge ME for it. Other that....

The service and workers were very nice and accommodating. The room smelled and the toilet was broken. The room also had bugs. I was moved to another room. This room smelled and had bugs. The pillows on the sleeper couch were filthy. There is a hole in the ceiling in the shower. This was the worst experience I have ever had with lodging.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean but needs updating. The only thing I disliked was the shower. The water didn't run out the tub fast enough so it felt like I was taking a bath and shower at the same time.

For what I paid the stay was not good!
The room I stayed in had a bad smell. The heating unit was blowing a bad smell like the filter was dirty. The next morning I went to get coffee because I was told it was open at 6 am I showed up at 6:20am and the front desk man said it didn’t open until 6:30. He wouldn’t turn on the lights just to let me get coffee. I was going to get breakfast later. I was not good with that! Because of the smell in the room and doors slamming at 1 and 2 in the morning I wasn’t able to sleep. I looked outside a few times and saw people hanging out. I will not ever stay there again!

The liquor store was a plus.Inside property could use updating.Don’t like the presence of homeless people hanging around property on sleeping outside on the corner down the hill leading up to hotel.

When we pulled up there were a lot of homeless people on the corners. At night a lot of cars with bass turned up too loud. The breakfast was great. Need to dust the rooms more often.

Decent accommodation for the price point.
Room/Bed was good. Housekeeping good, towels and coffee in the room good. Breakfast was convenient and good. Hot tub was not functional for our entire 4 day stay. Overall, decent accommodation for the price point.

I loved this place because of the hot tub in our room....Baby it's a most rental!!! They are about to revamp the hotel but for now while it's cheap get the room with the HotTub!!! Plus they had a full Breakfast! Wow, good job Wingate Hotel. The Fabulous Women at the front desk I'm sorry i didn't get your name, she was so sweet and informative.... Great 2hr trip!!

Do not stay at this dump of a hotel!!! AC doesn’t work in rooms . Entire hotel dirty and smells!! Bums out front asking for money!!!

This place has BED BUGS. I noticed a small bug crawling around me at night and thought it was a small roach, nope brought a bed bug infestation back home with me which makes me think the room was full of them. What money you save on this cheap hotel you will spend more on trying to get rid of a bed bug infestation wish I could add a photo to show what my legs look like after staying at this place.

You’re paying for a place to sleep, if you’re coming to see the Dawgs. The bathroom floor was dirty, there was a tear in the sheets/ bedding. Our tv remote had battery corrosion, they replaced the remote and it still didn’t work for our tv. I was not impressed but would stay here again simply for the convenience.

We were there for the parade and a lot of people were checking in. The man behind the counter was so nice and friendly. Nice comfy room. Has a refrigerator and microwave in the room. Very clean. Just a very nice and peaceful stay! OAN: It is in the parking lot of a liquor store which was a big plus for us>
