Our room was the first room off the lobby. At first it seemed a little noisy but by 9:00, it was completely quiet. Would recommend and would stay again

CLEAN place!
Located a short distance from I-75, the HIE, was a gem in the area for overnight stays. Guest will be met with a new building, CLEAN rooms and hallways, & a nice staff.

It was just an average hotel. Only one person at check in on a Saturday night and she was up on a floor, I had to wait for her to get back. No carts to take luggage up to 2nd floor had to make multiple trips with a 6 month and 3 year old. The breakfast was very good with multiple choices.

We just enjoyed a very lovely stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Athens, Tennessee. The hotel is extremely conveniently located for travel along highway 75. The staff at the hotel are all so welcoming and helpful. We had a lovely check in and out experience. They were able to provide us a crib for our baby and even had deodorant that we forgot to pack! We had the large pool all to ourselves and our children loved it! Our room was clean and had everything we needed, including a fridge and microwave. The beds were comfortable and we had a wonderful sleep. Breakfast in the morning is plentiful with so many amazing options including omelettes, several different sausage meats, cereal, fruit, juices, cinnamon buns, muffins, bagels, pancakes, yogurts, etc. There was a friendly lady cleaning and replenishing everything. We couldn’t ask for more. Without a doubt we will be back on our next trip through the area. Thank you so much for a lovely stay!

Summer cycle trip
All staff were very kind and helpful! Marlene kept the breakfast hot and fresh, as well as keeping the area clean, she even wrapped up some muffins for one of my daily road trips! Hotel has easy access to Hwy but not so close that traffic noise is a problem. At a dead end street , very quiet, but walkable to store and a ruby Tuesday and Waffle House. Just a 30-40 min ride to the skyway. Big indoor pool, spacious rooms. The air worked great for our July stay. Would stay again!
