No amenities, had to ask for shampoo, coffee, etc

Posted May 15, 2017
Location: Location for convention center was great until they locked Centennial park down for concert, had to walk completely around park to get to CC.
No bar or food on premises, Under construction, rate to high for lack of services. Might be great hotel once everything is running, but for now, a no-go!

Awesome stay

Posted May 2, 2017
Cons: Have breakfast available, glasses in rooms. Lights in bathroom are dim.
First time to Atlanta, rooms are clean, nice, remodel was still in progress, but very close to being done. Bryan was a huge help. The only thing I could say that needs improvement, is some breakfast, like a buffet. There is a waffle house next door, but not that clean. beware. We found about 5 blocks up a diner that was very good, portions were excellent for the price, I recommend the walk. Hotel close to everything.

Good location

Posted Apr 25, 2017
Pros: Friendly and attentive staff. Good location.
Cons: Hire a better renovation firm (Gensler) for better lighting, level shower doors, more efficient AC.
Location: Great location close to Centennial Park, Aquarium, College Football Hall of Fame.
We were in town for the Sweetwater 420 Fest and to visit our daughter who lives in Atlanta. While the location of the hotel is convenient to many downtown attractions, we, unfortunately stayed during a renovation and rebranding. Only one elevator was working the first day. Thankfully, they were able to fix another elevator during the remaining stay. The first room we had did not have adequate air conditioning. The staff was attentive and sent someone to check the AC, but when we returned several hours later, the AC was still not working. They gave us the option to try and fix the AC or move to another room. We opted to move. The other room's AC was working, but we experienced no hot water on several occasions. The staff were prompt in sending someone to check on the hot water which miraculously worked when he arrived; however, when we had to awake early the next morning to catch our flight, there, again, was no hot water. Also, the door to the shower was not level and would not stay closed. We had to jam a towel in between the sliding glass doors to keep them closed. Lighting in the rooms is dark and shadowy. Because of the renovation, we heard lots of construction noise and had to navigate around equipment and workers.

Centrally-positioned hotel in a safe area

Posted Apr 8, 2017
Pros: Location, staff.
Right at the Olympic Centennial Park, two blocks from main streets, next door to a police station. Rooms were very clean and freshly renovated, but no hot water (max temp I got was about 19-20 degrees Celsius) or exhaust fan in the bathroom. Hotel was under renovation (most hotel amenities unavailable, incl. restaurant) and guests were using service elevator (which was apparently also used for construction purposes). Price should be more discounted considering the current state.

Under construction

Posted Nov 1, 2016 on Hotels
Hotel is under construction and it is major somyoumhsve to enter through a side door that they have converted into a guest check in. The hotel clearly needs a major face lift and compete gutting because the areas they have not gotten to were not worth what they were charging. Also our room was suppose to be non smoking but you could smell the remaining stale stitch on cegarets. Woke to toilet running and had to remove the top to try and repair it at 3am. Calling hotel manager did not yield any results. Left message but did not get a return call the next day. So I would not receding stayng in the hotel until after the construction is complete maybe Feburary 2017.
