Lost for words!Posted Dec 29, 2015
I am very displeased with the Evergreen Resort at Stone Mountain. I was on a 4 days 3 night vacation for the Christmas holiday. I checked in on Christmas eve which was on a Thursday this year and checked out Sunday 12/27/15. My main reason for choosing the Evergreen Resort at Stone Mountain was simple because it has an indoor pool/Jacuzzi. Well lord and behold I didn't get half of what I felt I had paid for. I was unable to use the pool/jacuzzi and had to pay for my son to eat breakfast in which I thought it was included. I complained to the staff/manager about the dirtiness of the pool and nothing was done until that Saturday in which the pool/Jacuzzi wasn't ready until after 3pm. I could have saved a lot more money staying at a different hotel. I very seldom spend $150 or more a night for hotel stay without great accommodations. Thanks a lot you guys totally ruined my family Christmas vacation.

Bad servicePosted Dec 28, 2015
A Marriott hotel with all of the guest services of a Motel 6 If you can get the employees to stop talking or texting on their cell phones long enough to actually get someone to help you, you might get lucky enough to get an incorrect answer to your question. For example the desk employees don't know the difference between a continental breakfast and a full breakfast The one restaurant in the hotel that serves breakfast is a buffet only and you are not allowed to take anything back to your room An unexpected perk is the guest room attendant entertainment early in the morning. From the comfort of your bed you can hear Lacretia tell Lawanda about her boyfriend beating her up last night while they yell at each other across the rooms as they clean. Marriott should create a rule that employees cannot talk on their cell phones while they are working. If I wanted to feel like I was staying at a downtown Motel 6, I would have reserved at a Motel 6.

Great room and great locationPosted Nov 1, 2015
Pros: Nice big room. Comfy bed. Great gym. Outdoor pool and jacuzzi were heated. Nice coffee shop where we could get a simple breakfast
Stayed in this hotel after arriving from USA to play golf at stone mount golf course. Only a short drive from airport. Golf course not in great condition but fabulous location. Hotel had everything we needed. A good trip

Nice hotel with lots of amenitiesPosted Oct 22, 2015
Nice hotel. Tons of things to do in the hotel itself and surrounding Stone Mountain park. 15m drive to downtown Atlanta. Exactly what we were looking for....
