This was a lovely property! The rooms are older — but clean and in great condition. The room/hotel was extremely quiet on a Saturday night. We will definitely be back!

I liked the value and location just outside of downtown only 10 minutes from H E Holmes station for MARTA , quiet residential area just off of I-285 on west side. Upon checking in, we found our room to have not been cleaned. Sheets were piled up on the beds and bathroom had not been cleaned. The room smelled unclean. We were moved to a handicap room because it was the only available 2 queen beds room left. Shower curtain was to high off the floor which caused the floor mat to be soaked. No wall hangers for towels or clothes in bathroom. Limited counter space and no shelves in bathroom. Was offered another room later after we had already unpacked. We passed because it was late and we had to be somewhere early the next day. Not what we expected. Was refused discount for inconvenience because we booked through Expedia. Very disappointed.

Gorgeous hotel!
The Country Inn and Suites in Smyrna is great. Beautiful hotel with clean, comfortable rooms. We particularly loved the shower! Check in and Check out were very efficient. I just can't stand it when you have to wait forever to get checked in. This hotel handles it beautifully! The only issue, and the one that will probably keep us from booking here again, is the location. We didn't have any trouble LEAVING the hotel to go out for dinner or anything else, but we had so much trouble getting back. The hotel is at a very bad intersection. If you need to make a left turn (and you're a stranger in town because most people who stay at hotels are strangers to the towns they stay in!!!!), it is really difficult to understand which road you need to turn on to. There are two roads to the left. One is a very sharp V, the other is a large angle. We took the sharp V because it seemed like the hotel was right there. Nope. Some kind of parking lot. Then we had to figure out how to turn right out of the parking light, make a U-turn, and then come back to the hotel from the right. It was so difficult. If you're familiar with Smyrna or if it's going to be daylight when you're driving around, this is a great place!!! It really is. But if you've never been here before and you'll be driving in the dark, this probably isn't the best choice.

Employees were kind. The pool was “out of order” as the sign read. The employees were inconsistent with responses considering they all had different responses. Main reason for booking here was for pool. Called ahead and was told pool was accessible. However, showed up and was not.

“Accessible” room was great except for the HVAC. The room felt a bit damp and slightly musty. Other than that, wonderful staff, very clean hotel overall, great breakfast and location.
