Slick but lacking

Posted Jan 23, 2016
Pros: Slick looking, clean, nice staff.
Cons: Put an ice machine and a soda vending machine on every floor.
Location: Good location
Expedia said "valet parking, fee". But it didn't say it was $30 a night! I think that is too much. I'm from NYC and you can park in most areas for around $20. Then I like to have ice. They only had ice machines on alternate floors, and the soda machines on the other. So to have a can of coke with ice, you had to wait for the elivator, going up and down. The place was decorated nicely and the staff was friendly and the hotel was clean but the $30 extra per night convinced me not to stay over another night.

Thank you for sharing your feedback on your stay. Unfortunately the space on each elevator landing prevents us from having an ice machine and vending machine on each floor. In addition, i would like to mention that the pricing of our valet parking is competitive with other downtown hotels in Atlanta.

Loved the location and the rooms, not RR door :(

Posted Jan 4, 2016
Pros: Ease of walking to various locations
Cons: The sliding barn door for restroom, not very private. Never liked that at all.
Location: Restaurants, close to Georgia Dome, walking distance to good restaurants and central section of downtown
Great experience, would have helped to know the Station to exit off the MARTA train was not at Peachtree, but the next one (9th stop). We were told the 8th stop and we got drenched that day because it was raining heavy. Otherwise, we were happy.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. Not all of our rooms actually have the barn door. We hope that you give us another opportunity in the future.

Do NOT Use Valet!!

Posted Jan 1, 2016
We used the hotel valet which was a mistake. They were the only ones with access to the vehicle and there was no damage of a break in. Should have used the public parking garage acrossed the street. When me and my 2 children entered our vehicle to go home after we checked out, the belongings in my car were strewn about. My 5 year old sons headphones, loose change, sunglasses, and my son's wallet were stolen which were in my console. I was told that claims could only be filed for stolen vehicles and I should file with my homeowners insurance. So basically when u leave your car they have carte Blanche to take anything they want. I notified the hotel supervisor on duty and they did not offer any help or appear to care. I also called the hotel and as of today have not received a call back. The rooms are very small. I do not recommend staying at this hotel based on my experience. Lesson learned the hard way.

It is a great hotel in a good location. Really close to the Peachtree Center MARTA station. Room was amazing. Very clean, and surprisingly comfortable considering we had four people in the room. The bathroom was huge as well. Having two queen beds is the best. Thanks

Great hotel & location

Posted Dec 25, 2015
The hotel is in the heart of Downtown Atlanta so there's no need to move your vehicle after its parked to explore the city. We were given a corner room with an amazing view and tons of natural lighting. The only downfall would be that the room was tiny. It would also be great to add one overhead light to use in the evenings when there isn't enough natural light to fill the room. Overall, the staff was super friendly and we enjoyed our short stay.

Loved the Courtyard Downtown.

Posted Dec 7, 2015
Pros: Location was #1 like, friendly staff a plus.
Cons: Front parking area to unload for valet parking could be larger....
Location: Perfect location, next to MARTA, block away from Peachtree and all the great food you could want. easy walk to all attractions.
Loved my stay at Courtyard Downtown Atlanta. Staff was very nice and helpful, from the valet to the lounge bartender. Front desk staff were quick and friendly. Room was spacious and comfy. It was clean and bathroom was large. Was within walking distance to great food, activities and the Ga Dome. Will stay there again!!!

Pros: Everything

The hotel was excellent!! The room could of easily been at a 4 star hotel. The staff was extremely pleasant and accomodating!!
