not in midtown!!

Posted Nov 7, 2016
Location: location is mis-sold! This is not located in Midtown which was confirmed to me by locals. You need taxis to get everywhere.
room was nice, facilities were good. breakfast was good standard and value.

quiet and comfortable

Posted Oct 24, 2016
Pros: I liked the cleanliness, the QUIET at night, even though it's right next to I85. There is a McDonalds for kids walking distance. Very nice area
Cons: Bed comfort, but like I said, that was MY personal preference.
Location: I was there for parents weekend at Emory and the hotels near Emory and across the interstate were $200 a night or more.
Ok so I read the reviews that said there was construction, and there is. BUT, I needed a place I could afford, and the warm cookies are great as well. The thing is, there is construction from 9-5 ish, but I just needed a place to sleep and was there from 3pm thru 10 am and I heard some noise from 3-5. Secondly the room was clean, and updated, so I feel like this floor was already done?! I have to say that the bed was OK, but not as comfortable as I like, but that was a personal preference.

Beware of drilling and hammering.

Posted Oct 18, 2016
Location: McDonalds next door. Everything seemed distant. You need a car.
We had to request towels daily. Room was not vacuumed daily. Hotel male staff nasty. Female staff hospitable. Beware, if you obtain your room from a third party, you will not get the room you requested. We request handicap. We paid for 3 people. Was informed that we could have a one bedroom handicapped. Staff appeared angry because we booked our room from Expedia. The hotel arrangement is setup strange. We had a hard time locating are room each time we got off the elevator.

Unannounced construction at 9am.

Posted Sep 20, 2016
Apparently their website tells on this inconvenience so no refund but woke up at loud construction early in the morning on the floor directly above our room. Also, paid cash for the hotel, and even though we checked out a night early due to the construction, we've been charged for two nights on the card. Staff was amazing other than the "well it was on our website." And the hotel is very lovely, but at 150 a room? I should of just stayed at downtown.

Nice staff, but be aware hotel is under renovation

Posted Aug 25, 2016
The staff was friendly, professional, and, helpful. The room and hotel location were fine. My only problem was that the hotel was under renovation during my stay. About half the parking spots are taken up by construction storage containers. During the three weekdays of my stay, mostly between 8am and 4pm, I could hear the construction work and drilling taking place in the room above me. I needed to do telework during my stay (including audio & Web conferencing), so the intermittent background noise was not helpful. I didn't know about the renovations before booking and paying for the reservation. I've stayed here before (when the hotel was not under renovation) and it was fine, back then. I did not ask, and don't know, when the current renovations will be completed. BTW, I fully realize most people may not spend the majority of their daytime hours working in a hotel room. Therefore, many guests may not have been impacted by the ongoing renovations, to the degree I was.

Very friendly staff. Easy to find - Right off Interstate 85, but just a tad noisy (traffic). Would stay there again.

Overall ok experience but wouldn't recommend to anyone do to lack of things they have to provide. Restaurant closed early. Staff couldn't bring anything up to the room for us.
