Hotel of ChoicePosted Sep 21, 2015
Pros: Everything especially the breakfast and the Manger's Reception
Cons: Everything has room for improvement but right now I was extremely satisfied just ensure that the great hospitality and customer service continues.
Location: Location was awesome. Near us was the Cumberland Mall, down the street was several shopping centers with a Target, TJ Max, Marshall's Ross etc.
Me and four of my friends took a trip to Atlanta, GA and we stayed at the Embassy Suites in Cobb County at 2815 Akers Mill Rd SE, Atlanta, GA and I have to say we truly enjoyed our stay there. Everyone was overly nice and customer service friendly. We had one employee to even go above and beyond for us. His name was Antonio and he's the director over housing. We had one small issue with our refrigerator upon over arrival and we reported it and within 10 minutes that issue was quickly resolved. I wish I could remember the overly nice lady that was on the right hand side cooking the omelets but I can't remember but she laughed and talked with us as if she knew us personally. She smiled at every one that she came in contact with and to me that speaks volume. I will definitely look for an Embassy Suite when traveling again. Thanks for the great hospitality and keep up the good work!!! Signed, The 4 T's (Tami, Tawanna, Tominica, Tonya)

Good location. Restaurant was a little understaffed it seemed. Only saw two ladies working. Food and drinks were great. Hot tub was excellent. Beautiful night view of Downtown ATL in the distance. Very Clean Rooms. It helped make my Atlanta experience even more wonderful

Maybe clean the room first?Posted Jul 19, 2015
We were celebrating our 16th wedding anniversary and choose The Embassy Suites because of our past experiences with this chain. We had never been to the Buckhead local before but it's closeness to the Cobb Performing Art Center (we were there for a show), it seems a great fit. Once arriving to our room we entered into a underwhelming cramped space. A little bit surprising, but that wasn't the worst of it. I went into the bathroom to find that I needed to clean the toilet seat before using it. I came out of the bathroom to find that my husband had found a dirty pair of socks and some trash. We were going to let them know at the front desk to have someone clean it while we go out for dessert. I glanced back into the bathroom to see that the toilet was actually covered with fecal matter. We took a photo to show the front desk. They were very apologetic and wanted to make it right, so they offered us dinner at their sports grill on location. It was 11pm, and we had already had dinner so they offered a gift card to Starbucks. It was for $10... We learned that had we left that night we would have lost out money to Expedia, they could not comp the room nor give any discounts. We were stuck. They offered a different room (to our chagrin, same room, different floor). No upgrade to help sooth... nothing. It was a rough night sleep for us. I will never go back to that hotel again. It blew our minds that they felt a $10 gift card was sufficient.
