Masters

Pros: The reception at night and the breakfast buffet, indoor pool.
Location: Close to restaurants and shopping
Went to Augusta GA for the Masters Golf tournament. Family stayed and used the pool and hot tub.

No towels broken elevator

The hotel ran out of towels had to share one towel for todays. And we had to wait almost an hour to check in after the check in time. The line for breakfast was twenty minutes and they ran out of forks. Also one of the elevators was broken so every trip in or out of the hotel was an extra ten to fifteen minutes. The experience was horrible.

Hotel Just OK. Less than expected from Embassy

Very average experience at this hotel. It is awesome that they have a good breakfast but either the hotel staff was not good or they were short. The bar was not clean and they kept running out of food and utensils. When asked for towels the desk staff blew me off and forgot. The pool was extremely busy with little supervision. The hotel employees did not make the experience great.

Nice hotel, bad room, bad service.

The room that we were given had mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, an inch of dust on the ceiling a light fixture near the air vent, chips from previous guest on the floor, the furniture was broken scrapped (showing heavy wear), and there were stains on the carpet. Also, the facet leaked out of the handle all over the counter when you turned it on. The coffee was left out of our room, we requested it 3 times but it was never brought to us as promised, the air unit would only run fan (would not turn to cool) and even though they said they were sending someone to fix it no one ever came, and I was left on hold for 27 minutes when requesting a shuttle pick up from town. The breakfast was nice and it has a great location but for $240 a nice I expected much better service and for the room to be in better condition

OLD, USED AND WORN OUT

Pros: cocktail hour and breakfast. staff was accommodating and location
Cons: remodeling...updating. other embassy suites hotels need updating
Location: location is great, lots of places to eat and shop in the area
furniture is old, worn and needs to be replaced. sofa and carpet had stains and bathroom shower had dirty grout areas. there were no coverings on the bottom mattresses showing stain.

Good location but many issues

Checked in and there were several parties going on-not unusual for a Saturday. Once in our room we realized we had several girls next to us blasting rap music and several kids above us jumping on the floor. We asked to move. That was easy. The next room we had was more run down than the first but at least it was somewhat quiet. The lamp was broken/squashed and there were odd stains on the wall and the side of a chair along with a dirty bathtub. No fan in bathroom so that steamed up everything. Handle for shower was about to fall off and needed repair. Really bad stains and bleach spot in th the hallway in front of our door. Breakfast was not good at all. We went close to closing time-about 10-15 minutes before the end of blast and they were out of food. We stood around waiting for plates for a few minutes before we realized that there wasn't even enough food left to fill a plate! It's not like we showed up 2 mins before blast time ended. Silverware was hard to find as well. The small amount of food that was left behind was awful. The pastries were bad enough that I only ate one bite (and I'm used to some horrible food having been in Iraq and Afghanistan for 2.5 years). My mother and I ate cereal then went and got food elsewhere. Parking was not convenient and you had to pay $10'a night. Paying almost $400 for 2 nights was not worth it at all. I would definitely go to a different hotel next time even if I had to pay more $.

Good location

Pros: The breakfast was good.
Cons: Housekeeping timing on cleaning room could improve, and the c. The smell of the room was not a clean smell, I guess the carpet needs to be shampooed.
Location: The Mall is close, Target is close and several eating places are close as well.
Room was not too clean, countertops were dirty. There was water on the bathroom floor when we checked in, we thought it was from the room being cleaned, but later discovered that the toilet had a slow leak. Housekeeping did not show up until after 5pm the next day to clean the room, which I think then they just made the bed and changed the towels.

The hotel was great overall stay was great the only issue I had was that it was hair, a lot of hair in the shower.
