Excellent location with complementary Transportation to CDC. This has been the smoothest hotel experience I have ever had from check in, room service, transportation, check out. All staff members I encounter were very attentive, helpful and pleasant. Everyone addresses you with a nice smile. Looking forward for my next trip there!!

Convenient to Emory

Like the hotel but really prefer the West rooms over the East rooms. Rooms were more updated on the West and provide a better layout than the East. Staff is always very helpful.

Nicest hotel anywhere east of midtown. Great for hanging out in va-hi, Emory or Decatur.

Rude receptionist

Overall a very nice stay. Checking in was painful, though. I have to remember that the check-in time is 4 pm and not 3 pm as in most other hotels I have stayed in. So after standing in check-in line for 15 min, I am told at 3.47 pm that my room is not ready and I will have to come back again, that would mean going back to the line, standing in line for another 15 min and get at the check in counter exactly after 4 pm. Well, it's my bad that I didn't notice the 4 pm check in time but we expect a little bit of courtesy and leeway from the service staff at a high-end hotel. Minimum the receptionist could have done is given the room keys and ask us to wait until after 4 pm to get inside the room. This experience sort of ruined our expectations of a nice stay at the hotel especially after we drove 6 hours to reach there. That said, everything after this incidence fell in place, other receptionists were really nice, food was wonderful, and rooms were nice and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again but hope not to see the first receptionist there anymore.
