Terrible Wake up call.

When I arrived, I was greeted by an excellent individual that was doing everything in his power to take care of an upset guest. I love that type of customer service and knew that I was in the right place. The individual took care of me and I was off and running. Hotel was furnished beautifully and all appearances were good.
Fast forward to 8AM. I had gotten in around 2AM and wasnt in bed until about 4, so I was planning on sleeping in a bit before my meetings for the day. My wake up call came in the form of a jackhammer from the floor below me. Hoping it was a temporary thing, I put my headphones in and tried to go back to sleep. Wrong. I could feel the jackhammer through my bed and was literally rattling the room. It was loud enough that a phone call was hard to make. I went downstairs to the lobby to see what the deal was and literally everyone at the counter (unfortunately my friend from the night before wasnt there) could care less. I got a look of disgust from one woman and another said she was sorry. The two other guys just sort of stared at me blankly. That was it. Once I was showered and ready to go, I went back down to grab a cup of coffee which was another $3 bucks. They couldnt even comp a cup of coffee for the experience.
Overall, im torn. Overall staff rating is because of the excellent young man from the night before. If he hadnt of been there then this would have been a rating of 1. For now, dont stay here while the renovations are going on.
