I made our reservation 2 months ago through Expedia. I get to the hotel and the attendant let me aware of the cleaning staff walked out so no rooms were available. We were considered a “walk” which means they sent us to another Holiday Inn that was about 6 miles out from where we had originally planned and it wasn’t no where near as nice but it was a bed to sleep in. Supposedly they are refunding they money back so I hope Expedia reads this and gets my money back ASAP! The lady at the second hotel said that Expedia will drag their feet on the refund and tends to “ignore” the refund back to the customer when they actually received the refund from the hotel chain.
