Pros: Proximity to downtown events/ points of interest
Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was adequate Biggest complaint ( not hotels fault) is being bombarded by homeless people in downtown area while walking.

Great for an overnight stay.

Posted Jul 30, 2016
Pros: Room cleanliness, friendly staff, great breakfast.
Cons: The valet stand should be outside, undear cover, so that arriving guest know where to park.
Location: We only visited the Georgia Aquarium while staying, but in the lobby there is a book called Atlanta Now that breaks down activities and restaurants.
We only stayed the one night on our way home from the mountains. The hotel staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. the continental breakfast was very satisfactory. Hot and cold food along with coffe, juice and tea. There are also a couple of close restaurants within a block. Overall stay was satisfactory. I'd recommend this hotel for both families and business trips.

Thank you for staying with us. We will take your advice regarding the valet stand--it usually is outside unless it's raining. Come back and see us again soon.

Quick stay for GNR concert at Georgia Dome

Posted Jul 29, 2016
Pros: location
Cons: the ventilation and cooling of common areas
Location: Georgia dome, olympic park, coca-cola, the new Mercedes stadium - all very close
This hotel fits the bill for a no frills, need a hassle-free experience, one nighter. We were easily able to get in and out. It is conveniently located in downtown Atlanta, close to lots of restaurants and the attractions of downtown. We were there for a concert and were about a 15 minute walk from the Georgia Dome. The lobby, hallways and breakfast area on the mezzanine were HOT, but other than that, the experience was good. Would stay again.

Thank you so much for staying with us. I apologize again for the "heated" lobby. It's unfortunate for us that our AC went out during your visit. We hope to see you again soon.

Okay place to stay

Posted Jul 25, 2016
Pros: the rooms were large and it has a great free breakfast.
Cons: staff
Location: perfect walking distance to the park and phillips arena.
When arriving to check in, we were greeted by a Unfriendly woman named Adrian who told us that our room was only 1 bed instead of 2. We had 3 people staying, so 1 bed would not work. When asking what our options are, she said "I don't know what to tell you". Finally, another staff member come to help and found us a room to accommodate. While waiting to be checked in, Adrian complained about how awful the staff was and how upset she was that he was able to find us a room and that she couldn't. She explained that she was brought into the hotel to help better it, however, all she did was talk poorly about it. After the room situation was resolved, she was nice to us but very negative towards the hotel. I personally wouldn't want that type of person to represent the front end of a hotel that I was part of.

Location was priceless for my "Staycation"

Posted Jul 7, 2016
Pros: proximity to Centennial Park
Cons: size of elevators and bathrooms
Location: Hawks, Falcons College Football HOF, Aquarium, Coke Museum, Skyview, Horse and Carriage rides, Tabernacle
Great Location...attended a concert at Philips arena. Close enough to walk back to afterwards. Plenty of things to do within walking distance or a brief cab ride. Breakfast was ok. Check in experience could have been better. The room we were checked into initially was still occupied. Elevators are really small but I believe it is an old building so it makes sense. Bathroom was very small but the rest of the room was great. Wish they had snack machines instead of just soda machines.

Cell-like "suite" with no daylight!

Posted Apr 11, 2016 on Hotels
It's disappointing when you check in at 4:30 PM and the room is still not ready. So they give me an upgrade to a so-called suite. Even if the dividing wall was knocked down it would be nothing more than an average-sized room. To get to the far side of the bed meant sliding between the wall and bed. And both TVs were in spaces that made them difficult to be viewed. By far the worst situation was the fact that both windows had such heavy frosting on them that not only was it totally impossible to look out but there was also no daylight able to come in. The smallness of the room and lack of daylight truly made it feel cell-like. Housekeeping failed to restock the tea/coffee supplies one day and then did not clean out the coffee maker from the coffee pod so that hot tea had coffee remnants. Great location and very friendly door/security/valet staff but the hotel experience itself left a lot to be desired.

Confortabel hotel voor deelname aan congressen

Het hotel ligt op wandelafstand van het Georgia Convention Center, van de Philips Arena, van een metro station en van Peachtree street. De kamers zijn ruim (suites), de WiFi kwaliteit is OK.
