Art-B-Que festival. A small town art and Bar B Que festival all in one. Unsigned work at Avellino's Pizza in Oakhurst #HighWithoutWalls My favorite Sushi place. Exceptional Japanese cuisine for a great price. Clubhouse pool Atlanta's edgy Candler Park and neighboring East Atlanta Village and Little Five Points are littered with street art. Great areas outside the tourist center to wander around. #atlanta #neighborhoods You can't miss these giants Atlanta, GA - Fernbank Natural History Museum - Butterfly in the Garden

Super moist, and ridiculously rich. I have tried many a cupcake place, this is the BEST! DeKalb County, created by Act of General Assembly Dec. 9, 1822 and including Fulton County until 1853, was named for Baron Johann DeKalb, a native German who fought gallantly for American freedom. Wounded and captured at the Battle of Camden, S.C., August 9, 1780, he died a British prisoner. Most of the early settlers of DeKalb County came from Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina.
First County Officers, commissioned March 18, 1822 in Fayette County, were: John S. Welch, Sheriff; Thomas A. Dobbs, Clerk Superior Court; Jonathan Dobbs, Clerk Inferior Court; John Calhoun, Coroner; James Adams, Surveyor. Great beer and a cool tasting room Thumbs Up is a friendly diner with a delicious skillet heap filled with bacon in Decatur. It is cash only, so come prepared! Indian street food fair. A little spicy, but LOTS of flavor. Worth a shot, if you are looking for something different. Yes this is a franchise, but still a nice spot to sit and get a good pizza pie. Plus there is parking, and a good drink selection. Great sandwiches and even better Jack 'n Coke slushies. Eat Me Speak Me is a pop-up by Chef Jarret Stieber currently located in Candler Park's Gato on Fridays and Saturdays. Their premise is Atlanta, GA - Fernbank Natural History Museum - Dinosaur Topiary

#Green Great natural history museum. Beautiful outdoor setting with trails and paths. #restaurant
Pizzeria/brewery with a really interesting concept. HIGHLY RECOMMEND the house-made mozzarella & Heywood's pepperoni! Made to order burgers, mine is with hot sauce and a fried egg. All organic meat and local seasonal sides. Simply menu great food. This place is on a short list of must eats in downtown Decatur. Alpha Delta Pi Sorority was founded May 15 1851 at Wesleyan College in Macon Georgia as the first secret society in the world for college women, and thus became the mother of the social sorority system. Wesleyan Collage was the first educational institution to grant an academic degree to a woman.
Alpha Delta Pi Sorority now maintains chapters in leading colleges and universities throughout the United States and Canada. Memorial Headquarters building was in memory of the Sorority's founding in George by the Grand Council on March 26, 1955. Vinyl records store, you can see it use to be a barber shop. This trail is actually an extension of the original trail that joins Medlock Park to the Mason Mill Park tennis courts. It provides a pleasant walk above semi-wetlands all the way from the tennis courts to N Druid Hills Road. This new trail together with the original trail is very popular with locals and parking near the tennis courts is adequate. Looking across Candler Lake at Lullwater Park which is a pleasant area to walk around and which is adjacent to Emory University, Atlanta. The picture is looking East and there's a hint of the VA hospital just behind the tree at the left hand side of the picture. The lake is also a habitat for wildlife including migrating birds and apparently there are fish to be caught as well. BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir
Built by some 2 million man hours by mostly high school and college age students. Lilburn GA Visiting BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Temple in Lilburn Georgia. A beautiful place that feels like a little piece of India here in the Georgia. This building has a bit of a history. It was built in 1926 and was the former Emory University railway station for passengers and freight. The present name which is “Dooley’s Den ‘The Depot’” is a reference to the Spirit of Emory - do a Google search for information on Dooley - and the building presently serves coffee. For some time in the 70’s and into the ‘80s the building was actually the location of the Emory Credit Union. This spot is a pleasant place for a stroll around some well maintained paths although it’s not particularly extensive. There’s a pond which can attracts birdlife although with changing times it’s regressing to more of a prairie with occasional water and increasing vegetation due to natural silt intrusion. What is delightful about the preserve is the fact that it’s a little off the beaten path and therefore is not overly crowded while existing undeveloped next to a small shopping mall, car dealership and regular suburban homes. And it continues to be looked after by enthusiastic community volunteers. When you wish upon a tree... Locally owned ice cream shop. Good not great. Frozen treats for a warm afternoon. Try the inventive flavors like Ohio Buckeye. Delicious treats and coffee. Try the peanut butter cookie sandwich. Coffee shop, with a few eats and alcoholic beverages. Nice place to sit and enjoy your day. Located in OakHurst Village. #restaurant
