It's got character.

If you're expecting a hotel that is a Hilton, Marriott, Sheraton, or even an Indigo... all of which are not that far away from the Inn on the Peachtrees, well, then... go pay their prices and stay in one of them. If you want something with character and charm, well, try this.
I was in Atlanta for 2 nights for a conference and while it is definitely under renovations and definitely not 4 or 5 star quality, that's not what this hotel is meant to be. It had character. My room has been renovated, although the desk and the drawers ensemble was old and needs replacing, everything else was pretty new. And the little soaps were really nice. It was also well appointed in terms of TV with lots of channels, in-room safe, ironing board and iron, hair dryer, and lots of towels. I didn't like the pillows (too tall for my liking), but there were plenty of them. The breakfast was basic, but really, it was free, there was Tazo tea, and what more did I really need other than perhaps some kind of bread that was not white bread.
The staff who work in this hotel were absolutely lovely. So polite and really nice. They make the place shine.
