Hidden Gem in Downtown Atlanta

I had an excellent experience at this hotel. It was clean with a great free breakfast. The rooms were clean and quiet. Overall the staff was friendly and helpful.
However, my only complaint related to the check-in policy. I arrived at 1:30, after being in transit for 8 hours. I was told I could not check-in until 3:00. My bags were stowed and I sat in the breakfast area for the time. Then at 3:00, there was a line-up and I had to wait another 20 minutes. When a staff member did check me in, she created a false alarm that my credit card was not accepted. It seemed this was a ruse to get me to call them and update my status, so the credit card would not be declined if I did put charges on it. In a state of total fatigue, I stepped aside, called the credit card company who said it had not been declined. When I approached the counter the staff told me my card was not needed. I think the staff could have handled the check-in and ensuring the card worked in a more polite, user-friendly manner.

I am terribly sorry for the delay in getting you checked in. Unfortunately, during busy times, it is very difficult for us to allow guest to check in early. We do attempt to accommodate as much as possible.
