Bed was too soft. Hallways smelled like smoke. Breakfast minimal and nit replenished quickly.

When I checked in I asked if we had two queen beds and was informed that we did. We were short on time so it wasn't until later that night that we realized we had double beds.

unprofessional manager making outrageous threat

Pros: The only good thing is it's close to some good restaurants.
Cons: Outrageous manager as dedcribed above. the carpet in the room is dirty, 1 light in each room doesn't work, some towels look greyish and dirty.
Location: Lots of good Asian markets and restaurants.
We stayed here for 4 days to get out of the way of Hurricane Matthew. We took two rooms and brought our two dogs with us. Apparently a lot of other families were doing the same. The motel was sold out. There were a lot of kids and pets on our floor. The room next to us and the two opposite us had a lot of young kids going in and out all the time and playing in the hallway. Some people came back to their rooms near midnight. All the noise and commotions at night of course bothered our dogs. So they barked on our first night there. But we stopped them right away. On the following days, they got more used to it. But on the third day, the manager called us and said our neighbor complained about the barking. She said if they asked for a refund, she would charge us for that room. We told her our dogs barked because of excessive noise from their other guests and their kids. She said there were no kids on our floor! How she lied through her teeth! Besides, there were many other dogs on our floor and they all barked too. It calls itself a dog friendly motel, but it's anything but. We told her if she charged us a penny more than what we had already paid, we will sue her and the hotel. I went down to the front desk but she was not there. I complained to her staffer who agreed with me that it's ridiculous. He said it's a dog friendly hotel and dogs of course bark. We will never ever stay here again and will tell all our friends and family to avoid this lousy place.

Pros: The price was okay and it appears the the bathrooms were slightly renovated.
Cons: Floor is hard surface and everything shows up that wasn't cleaned; Hair, sticky residues, etc.

Staff was great....however the room had a musty smell and early in the am my husband saw a roach in the bathroom. Sooo glad he saw it before me. But overall not a bad place.... Definitely need to be update!!!!! Great staff and customer service!!!!!

Room was nice, but the wall way no very clean, breakfast was very cheap, courtyard breakfast make that breakfast look bad, but a brighter note check in was nice

Cons: Disclose the $100 deposit needed on all web sites.
This hotel demands a $100 deposit at check in regardless if you have paid in advance through a web site. This is not a pleasant thing to experience once you have had a tiresome day of traveling.

Pros: Convenient
Cons: Strong smell of smoke, reduce staff living at hotel, sound proof the rooms
Location: Good shopping and restaurants nearby
I don't travel often, but was shocked to be overwhelmed with the stench of smoke in the halls that leaked into the room all night. I kept seeing hotel staff going in and out of the rooms which I assume they must house quite a few. Mostly road crews staying there. Unfortunately my hall faced the highway and, even with earplugs, I heard trucks rumble all night. Nice and convenient, but I would rather pay more money than to smell chain smokers, listen to semi's all night and staff going in and out of their quarters all night.
