Weekend at the MandarinPosted Nov 16, 2015
My wife and I stayed here Nov 13th thru the 15th. The staff at this hotel are wonderful ! Everyone was a complete joy to deal with. The front desk staff was excellent in all our interactions and check in was flawless less than 5 minutes. Bar tenders remembered our drinks and were super professional. We where also very impressed with the housekeeping staff and the room amenities where first rate. The bellmen, valets and drivers were all very professional. This is a 5 star property in every way BUT ONE..... the carpet in our room was dirty and worn and definitely not in the condition it should have been. We did not complain but hopefully management will see this and get it addressed. Room 701

Fabulous hotelPosted Oct 23, 2015
Pros: Clean, great customer service, pool and sauna, comfy bathrobe.
Cons: Pool could be a little cooler and sauna a little hotter.
Location: I went to a conference and it was close to the hotel. Also, there is plenty of good shopping closeby and dining.
This hotel has superior customer service, comfort, and wonderful amenities. It is really a 10 star hotel.

beautiful roomPosted Aug 29, 2015 on Hotels
Beautiful room, as you would expect from the Mandarin Oriental chain. The staff were lovely- they gave us an upgraded room when they heard that we were on our honeymoon, which helped to make it even more special! Loved the bathroom with the separate bath, shower and toilet. Del Frisco's Grill just opposite the hotel was an unexpected bonus. It was useful to be able to eat so close to the hotel. We only stayed for one night, as when we returned to Atlanta at the end of the holiday, we wanted to be more central to the tourist attractions. The Mandarin was a perfect start to our holiday, though and a lovely hotel to relax in after a long-haul flight. Room service wasn't too efficient- we had to call them 3 times after our breakfast arrived, as they had forgotten elements of it (such as the coffee!), but issues were resolved promptly.

Close to shopping mallPosted Aug 22, 2015
Disappointed with the room space. No buffet. Expected the rooms to be bigger than what it is. And for break fast at least to b Buffett.
