Clean, but not what I expected

Posted May 6, 2015 on Hotels
Wasn't what I expected . One bedroom extremely little, but everything was clean for the most part. Breakfast definitely wasn't what I expected. Their version of continental breakfast is just bagels and muffins and juice...no real food. TV is very outdated.

Clean but tiny

Posted May 5, 2015
I guess the word micro in the name sums it up. That was the smallest room I have ever seen. We could barely walk around the bed and there was no room for the suitcase. The lobby and dining room were also miniature. It was very clean but we had no idea it would be so claustrophobically tiny.

convenient location to local craft show

Posted Apr 27, 2015
Pros: The location
Cons: The TV was up too high between the living room area and bed space. It was hard to see it being so far away and high on the closet.
Location: Very convenient to a mall and movie theater and lots of restaurants.
When I checked in, my room did not have a refrigerator which I had called previously to ask for. The front desk quickly changed that and accomadated me with one. When a vendor is doing a craft show, it is helpful for food and drinks to have one, so thank you!

Great customer service but very basic, shabby room

Posted Apr 25, 2015 on Hotels
Pluses- the hotel provides a nice breakfast (boiled eggs, fruit, grits, sausage biscuits) and front desk staff are friendly and as helpful as possible. There's a grocery store and pharmacy nearby and the hotel shuttle can drop you off at the Marta, Perimeter Mall or Crown Plaza if you have a conference there. Minuses- not all rooms have microwaves or friges, walls are thin, doors slam loudly and rooms are extremely basic and the decor is depressing.

The room was extremely small.

Posted Apr 14, 2015
Pros: Convenient
Cons: The room was extremely small. The first time we stayed at a Microtel was in Perry Georgia and we had a great room. Also the breakfast was terrible.
The room is extremely small. The breakfast was horrible. We only ate there one time. The first time we stayed at a Microtel the room was much bigger and the breakfast was fairly good. This room did not even have a place to sit and relax. Tiny tiny garbage cans. Had to ask twice for a blanket and extra pillow.

Will never stay here again

Posted Mar 30, 2015
I stayed for one night. The air in the room did not work properly but came on before I could switch rooms. Then the air completely went out, I woke up sweating due to the heat. Called downstairs no maintenance, he didn't arrive until I was checking out at noon. He went to the room after i was leaving then came downstairs like I was lying. The bathroom bathtub was disgusting I wouldn't take a shower in that tub. They sd the manger was in a meeting when i asked for a refund told me to take a card and call back. I sd I would wait, she was not in a meeting. Management only gave me a refund because I had already gotten expedia on the phone which is how I booked the room. Thank goodness for them. I haven't stayed here in over a year but I would never stay here again, needs serious upgrade and better customer service.

Affordable, Good Stay

Posted Feb 24, 2015
Pros: The affordable cost through the online reservation process, especially for this upscale neighborhood of the Atlanta, Dunwoody area.
Cons: TVs could use an upgrade.
Location: Property is two miles from retirement community where parents reside, and the Perimeter Center mall and restaurants are close by. I'll be back.
Upon entry, lobby and hallways are tidy and clean. Staff was attentive and helpful upon check-in and check-out. Room I had for the one night was small, but very suitable for my visit -- clean bed and bathroom.
