We were sightseeing on a budget

This is an older motel in reasonably good repair, located in a neighborhood with considerable construction going on. It is somewhat centered on the destinations we sought, including a museum or two, zoo, and some historical areas.
The area around it has rather upscale businesses, restaurants, and a car dealer or two, and we didn't see a real grocery store or a laundromat. The Atlanta traffic is Atlanta traffic and we put some effort into avoiding the busiest times.
The staff members we met were quite pleasant and helpful. I asked a housekeeper I saw outside a room for some extra towels, which she didn't have on her cart. She took me to the laundry room and we waited a minute for some to come out of a dryer, and I have never seen towels folded so efficiently. She also answered questions and helped me with my Spanish.
