Terrible hotel. Felt very unsafe.

Posted Jun 19, 2017
So, this was a hotel we booked last minute bc we were traveling 16 hours to Disney World with our 3 kids. We got this hotel for free with our Expedia points. We thought, well...it only has 2 stars but we're only using it for one night and it's free. Can't be that bad. Right? Well, when we pulled up we were greeted by 2 hookers that were leaving the hotel. They proceeded to linger in the parking lot and then made their way slowly to the gas station across the street where they lingered for about 30 mins (I was in the car waiting with the kids while my husband checked us in. It took forever). As we sat in the parking lot, people kept going in and out of the hotel. It had a party kind of feel there. But the kind of party that felt very unsafe with people lingering outside their cars talking to each other, all the while blocking the entrance for new customers. Once our check in was complete, we walked several floors down to our room (no elevator) to our shabby, run down room. There were fist sized holes in the walls, holes in the bathroom door where someone likely kicked it, & cigarette burns in our comforter and bed sheet. Our toilet wouldn't flush so my husband had to fix it himself. Their wifi does its best impression of an AOL dialup connection. The hotel is conviently located within crawling distance of no less than 2 strip clubs and a liquor store. I'm all for saving money, but I would recommend paying a little extra to be nearer less hookers and strip clubs

Pros: It was a few miles away from Six Flags and three strip clubs are a quarter of a mile away.
Cons: Everything, they seriously need to think about renovating and getting under new management.
Location: Six Flags isn't far and the three strip clubs nearby are a plus.
I booked this hotel because I was coming to Atlanta solely to go to Six Flags. Upon arrival I was not pleased with the outside appearance due to massive amounts of litter in the parking lot, as well as crowds of people blocking the entrance. Once I got inside to check in I wasn't greeted which I felt was rude. After waiting to check in I walked down the hall only to find my room was already open. I have no clue why the door was already open especially since the bathroom was stocked with absolutely nothing. No towels, wash cloths, bath mat, hand towels or anything for us to bathe with. Despite the room being non smoking my gf and I continued to find burn marks all over the furniture. It also smelled like marijuana all through the hotel. I immediately went to the phone to attempt to call the front desk but the phone didn't work. I went to the front desk to inquire about having no bath linens only to be told the attendant is the only person working but she would come by in 10 minutes. Ten minutes came and went and we still had nothing. We end up changing for the park and come back hours later just to see there are still no towels in the bathroom. By this time we are thoroughly upset with this place because this is highly unacceptable. We have never had a room with no bath linens because that's a given, like come on now, this is just ridiculous. We keep asking for towels from the front desk and continue getting lied to. We didn't get anything until the next morning.

Filthy hotel in terrible part of town.

Took one look at room and walked out. Smelled terrible, filthy linens, stained carpet. Prostitutes waiting for clients in lobby. Unbelievable! DO NOT STAY THERE!

My son was abandoned by a friend he went with, he had no money or transportation. Tyra at Six Flags location helped me get him a room, food and a taxi to the bus station! Thank you!

From the moment you walk in all you smell is weed being smoked. I accidently got off on the wrong floor and you could smell it on that floor as well as the floor I was on. There was a guy standing outside the door when my husband was unloading that asked him he would like to buy any, "party favors" and hookers at the driveway. If it wasn't for the fact that this was a Cheerleading National championship week with over 20,000 athletes in town and no way to find availability at another hotel. I would have packed my two children up and ran, not walked. Extremely appalled and upset. I should get my money back.

Sketchy- don't do it

Posted Feb 6, 2017 on Hotels
The area was very sketchy. I didn't feel safe. I reserved a king non smoking but was given a double on what was displayed as a "smoking floor". The hotel looks a mess and needs updating. Next to a strip club & liquor store so unless u have a drunken night & can't make it home... Don't do it

Do you like hookers and drugs?

Posted Jan 20, 2017 on Orbitz
If you like hookers and drugs this is the spot, if you are looking for a safe place that doesn't have to kick someone out of your room and clean it before they give you and then won't give you a refund then this isn't the place to go.

Pros: Not much
Cons: A lot
Location: Right off I-20.
I checked in here due to some last minutes changes in my travel plans. Had I not been tired after a long drive & the weather been so bad I would have demanded my $ & gone elsewhere. In all my years of travel I have never stayed at such a poorly maintained place. Red Roof should pull there name from this property as it does the brand no good.. Broken lamp shades (2), faulty heater, dirty rug are a few things that were wrong with my room.
