First Time in Atlanta

Husband's Return from Iraq

GREAT EXPERIENCE

Everyone was very nice, very helpful just made me feel welcome. Traveling with a toddler and infant is very hard but the hotel staff made that portion of my trio very easy. From valet pulling my car up a few times for me to get items I needed for my babies to just giving me a had trying to get around with my babies.

Close to restaurants, stores and Maarta subway.

Pros: I like the fact that the hotel had more of a condominium look instead of a large hotel.
Cons: Nothing. Everything was perfect.
Location: I stayed there for a private event so the only thing I did was go to one restaurant to eat.
The hotel was ideally located within walking distance to restaurants, subway. The hotel provided free breakfast. The room that I was in was in a very quiet area of the hotel which was very important for me. The front desk staff were very professional and helpful. I would definitely stay there again. This was one of the best hotel experiences I have had.

Across train station! Breakfast and evening snacks appreciated. Walking distance to several downtown attractions. Highly recommended. Professional front desk staff.

Not super family-friendly

Our room was not ready after check-in time. We waited for over half hour for it. We had a two bedroom room. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable and the sofa bed was terrible. Parking is expensive and there are a lot of panhandlers all around the area. It's hard to feel safe exploring with children there.

Nice hotel to close the station

*Easy to move to any location, using MARTA. It takes two minutes to get on MARTA. *Hotel staff is really friendly. If I have any questions or something I wanna ask, they responded very quickly, which was really helpful to me. *My room was very clean; nothing to be desired.

Bad service

Cons: service
I got to the hotel at 9:30 pm on Friday night. I drove around the block a few times trying to find where to park. I finally had to valet. After getting all of my bags out of the car, the hotel manager informs me that I have been assigned to go to another hotel downtown. I feel as if someone should have called me beforehand to tell me this information.

Nice hotel with great service

It is a nice hotel and well kept. I brought my family with me and would stay there, again. The service was great and there were nice little things like a full, free breakfast and a free beer / wine happy hour in the evenings. Parking was expensive ($30+ per day), but that is typical for downtown Atlanta. Plenty of good dining around and the Olympic Center, Georgia Aquarium, College Football HOF, and Coca-Cola museum are about a 5-block walk away. If I go again, I would try to better understand parking (to reduce costs) and other transit options to reduce parking costs and driving around on busy streets.
