Great Hotel for the $$$

Location: Lot's of restaurants surrounding the Hotel. Amalfi's Pizza was excellent !
Hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff was very accommodating. Fitness room was excellent. Location was close to everything in midtown and the GWCC was a short walk (20 minutes) or roughly $8 cab ride.

Awesome pool area

Hotel is pretty convenient to downtown. 10 minute walk to business, shopping, dining. Too far to walk to the main tourist destinations. Pool area is fantastic and many of the rooms on the first three floors open onto balconies that overlook the pool. If you do have one of these rooms, however, it tends to be very loud. The pool is supposed to be open til 10pm but the nights of my visit it was crowded til nearly 11pm so early to bedders beware that it can be hard to sleep with so much noise.

Minimal Amenities / Concerns

Location: Did not do much in the area.
This hotel would have easily received a 4-Star rating if they had the following: 1) Free parking for Hotel guests ($27 night) 2) Shuttle service to the Georgia World Convention Center (within walking distance but doesn't take you to the main doors - 30-45 min walk to get to right entry) 3) Free Continental or breakfast for hotel guests 4) Costs for food is very high (meals / drinks) 5) Better concierge service for directions - Incorrect directions / Front Desk personnel couldn't give us directions either. We were told the conference center was within a 2-3 block radius from hotel. We left hotel at 8:15am in which the Concierge pointed us in direction to go. We followed his direction and ended up by a homeless shelter in which a passerby instructed us to turn back as we shouldn't be in that area. We approached a jogger and he stated we were going the wrong way as we were about 3 miles from the convention center. Ended up waiting on a street corner waiting for my husband to locate us with a vehicle to take us to convention. Arrived at convention at 10am.

Room needs to be updated badly

The room was dirty found crumbs all on the desk wallpaper was bucking from the wall and peeling. The bathroom was small with a heavy sliding door that looked like it was from the 70's. My room wasn't cleaned the entire stay even after I called and requested it to be cleaned. They even called back to see if has and I said no and still didn't get cleaned. Pool area was beautiful lobby was nice and clean. Ate at the restaurant slow service decent food.

Pros: IT WAS VERY PRETTY
Cons: UNSURE
Location: A LOT TO DO NEAR A LOT OF ATTRACTIONS
MY DOOR WAS BROKEN NOT KNOWING THAT IT WASN'T LOCKING MY CHILDREN AND I WAS THERE FOR DAYS WE WERE ABLE TO WALK IN WITHOUT THE KEY THE TOILET RAN WATER THE ENTIRE STAY.... THANK GOD OUR THING WASN'T STOLEN

Nice hotel but noisy room neighbors

Room is very nice. Staff is super. But the three nights I was there there were people coming to their rooms making a lot of noise very late. The housekeeper didn't leave coffe and cups the second two nights

Great staff, large, spotless room

Can't say enough about Sheraton's staff who were remarkably helpful, efficient, thoughtful, professional. They really stood out. Desk staff outstanding. Doormen, Housekeeping staff, same, and even the folks on the phone really excellent. Chose location due to to the nearby Carter Library which was a flat 8$ cab ride away. Good value, large spotless room.

Nice hotel in downtown Atlanta

Pros: It's centrally located and clean. There's a pool in a really nice looking courtyard as well as a really nice cafe/restaurant.
Cons: The room is obviously climate controlled to your liking, but the hallways were very warm and humid leading to the rooms.
Location: Seemingly centrally located in downtown Atlanta. It's a short walk from CNN, Coca Cola World, the Martin Luther King Jr. memorial site, etc.
A nice place in downtown Atlanta. Not too far from some of the tourist attractions. Clean place with some nice amenities and very friendly staff. The concierge was very helpful in finding some interesting things to do while we were in town.

Nice Hotel

Cons: The person assisting me when I checked in wasn't very friendly, but the rest of the staff was the duration of my stay
Location: Georgia Aquarium Centennial Park
This is a nice hotel close to Centennial Park and the Georgia Aquarium. There are lots of decent places to eat in the area that are all within walking distance
