This is supposed to be a Marriott, right?Posted Jul 8, 2017
Pros: The beds were soft, breakfast was nice and it was in a quiet location.
Location: We booked it to go to the Georgia Aquarium and Centennial Park, about 30 minutes away, and we didn't want to stay in downtown Atlanta.
Right out of the shoot there was a problem. The person in front of me when I was checking in around 11:30 PM was being told that their room had been given to someone else and the hotel was full. They had to go somewhere else (comped, fortunately). When we got our room assignment it was blazing hot inside. We turned down the AC and tried to sleep in that sweat box. The light bulb in the bathroom blew out in the morning and was housed in a broken and almost falling down fixture behind a door that wouldn't close without a lot of help. We reported the issue in the morning to to front desk and headed out for the day. When we came back in the late afternoon (around 4) our room was not made up and the light still did not work. We were told that maintenance had already been there today and would not be coming back. So they moved us upstairs to another room. At least the AC was on in this one when we packed up and moved up a floor. The nicest thing I can say is the light in the bathroom worked. The shower had a very modern 3/4 shower door and made for a very wet floor whenever anyone showered. The mirror on the closet door was cracked. The coffee pot did not work. And saving the best for last, there were ants, a lot of ants. Since this was the last day of an 18 day trip and we were all exhausted we put up with it and bugged out just as soon as we could. When we left, there was no one at the front desk, so we just left.

Best stay we have had while in AtlantaPosted Jun 5, 2017
No complaints other than the room having ants. It was a very clean room with a view of the pool. The breakfast had eggs, sausage, cereal, waffles, bagels, grits and oatmeal. I will definitely stay here again.

Don't get caught without a ride....Posted Apr 20, 2017 on Hotels
Called to arrange for for the shuttle was told there was no shuttle that day and that there would be a charge if there was one. They suggested uber or a taxi! It wasn't in the budget and I didn't see anything that said there was a charge for the shuttle on the site. We were 45 minutes away. I wouldn't have booked them if I had known that. Tried to cancel my reservation, but they refused and charged my cc even though I didn't even use the room.

Everything was wonderful from the time I checked in until I checked out
Very nice hotelPosted Apr 12, 2017 on Hotels
The hotel itself is a very nice hotel. The staff was courteous. I was disappointed to find out when I got there that the pool was closed. I wish they had let consumers know this before booking. This was a huge disappointment for my family as we were really looking forward to the pool. They need more variety on the breakfast food. I stayed four days and they served the same exact thing all four days. Other than those things- it was a nice stay.
