The Inn is conveniently located across from Stone Mountain. It doesn’t have any food on site, so you’ll need to travel to eat all meals. There are things close so it wasn’t too bad. My main issue for the 3 star rating was that our first night they authorized my card for the full amount, and then each subsequent night my card was ran again for the daily rate taxes/fees. I’ve never heard of a hotel doing this and now I’ve got to watch my card to make sure all the extra falls off.

My family travels ALOT. We’ve stayed in hotels, motels, and air bnbs all over the country. This was by far the worst experience we’ve ever had. The staff at the front counter did their very best but there was no support from upper management and it’s clear that the evergreen property(a property we usually stay at but wanted to try the inn this time for its historical charm) is the priority. When we got there the room was pretty dirty hair on the sheets, food crumbs and dirt under the trundle bed and the pull out couch was so gross no one dared sleep on it. We also had no blankets or pillows for three out of the 5 beds and when we asked for some at the front desk we were told there were none and that “I know it’s inconvenient but there is a Walmart close by” So we did indeed have to go buy our own pillows and blankets for a hotel we paid 500$ for two nights for. The tv did not work. The fan in the room did not work. The trundle bed on top the slats had all slid to the side so if you tried to sleep on it the middle caved in. On the second day we saw house keeping right outside our room and again let her know that we had no blankets or pillows and again nothing was done about it. (At this point we already had purchased our own so our kids could sleep comfortably) The woman at the front desk did try to help us but told me to call management at the evergreen. When we did we were put on hold for 20 minutes and then hung up on. There’s more but I am out of space. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Unfortunately the front desk staff was extremely unprofessional. The rooms are all in dire need of repair and updating. College fridge with a frozen icebox. No microwave. Barbie sized coffee maker, tv remote not programmed, wouldn’t work. Pillows are terrible and cover was torn.

Good location, needs an upgrate
The service from the front desk was excellent, the locations very convenient if your visiting the park. but the hotel needs some work, sheets were old with holes, dirty walls, parking is charge separate even though it was supposed to be included. The beds are full size not queen size as listed.

Basic No frills but conveniently located
The location is the only perk because it’s literally steps away from Stone Mountain. You can buy tickets for $20 for the park & the tram to ride up Stone Mountain at the front desk. The young person at the front desk has no customer service and it could be bc of her inexperience in the hospitality industry. Do not even think to ask for an earlier check in even if the hotel is empty or a better room because the response is No other room available. The remote did not work and the cleaning staff did not know how to work the tv. The room is bare minimum basic no frills. The carpet was full of dog hair and looks like no one ever vacuums. The bed was comfortable the shower has good pressure and coffee in room with large fridge.

The Inn
Lovely old hotel with huge, comfortable, clean (maybe a little dusty) guest rooms. Unfortunately, many areas of the property are in serious need of repair/renovation. Restaurant and pub closed during the pandemic and never reopened. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Generally a good location. Could use some maintenance on the grounds around the pool, and in the room. Walkable to the memorial area of Stone Mountain and the historic area. Drive to food.

The hotel was located conveniently next to the attractions around Stone Mountain Park - very easy walk! The rooms were very dated and need a desperate update, but were extremely spacious and did the job for a one nights stay.

Beware.
Our room was not ready until almost 7pm. The room was big but there are holes in the wall blood stains on the curtains. The hotel has no drinks or snacks to buy at the front desk or in the hotel. The room was not cleaned that great but we were to tired to leave. They lady in the afternoon was great and very friendly but the night person was rude and couldn’t be bothered with anything. The Pub and Restaurant are only open for Private party’s.

There was no indication that the restaurant was closed when we signed up. They double charged me for what i had already paid for. No bed sheets or blankets for beds no coffee in lobby. Very sad as it is historic site and was falling apart.

The room wasn't ready and I had to wait over an hour. I was then given a dirty room. After repeatedly requesting clean sheets, I was treated poorly and told to drive my personal car to pick up clean sheets from a different hotel because the one I was staying at didn't have any. The employee on the phone was incredibly rude about the sheets, as if not understanding why having clean sheets is important in a hotel. The room was dirty, the curtains did not close, and staff was rude. This was an awful experience. I am absolutely flabbergasted that this place is still in business.

I paid extra for pool view, the pool was green and couldnt swim. Restaurant was closed up. Was referred to "sister hotel" at other end of park for pool and food. Had to have keycard reset 3 times in 2 day stay. Very little tiolet paper in room upon check in. Had to request clean towels 2nd day. Room had cofee sugar and cream but no cups.

Needs some work
It was a nice comfortable place to stay . The room was clean and was a very big room I was supposed to have a king suite but was given a upgrade so they said a room with 2 double beds . No WIFI although the hotels .com site listed it the pool was a mild shade of green . It was very convenient to the activities at Stone Mountain and they also gave a pass so you didn't have to pay to enter the park each time just the initial entry . The whole place needed a make over but all in all it was an OK place to stay for a couple days .

The Inn is run down. Stepping in to the maintenance of rhe Hotel to check in/register you get a distinctive smell of a old damp House smell. The staff is realy nice, but once we stepped in to the room, we found the dresser under the TV was damaged and the drawers where not hung in right. I found a old sugar package next to the bed and the packages next to the coffe maker looked like there where there aince 10years. The duvet hat a rip in it. The bathroom wall paper is coming of the wall in several places as well as the sealing

The property is in horrible condition, it's worse than a motel. The rooms still have carpet, wallpaper coming off the walls, they smell moldy, sheets stained, very dusty curtains and dirty overall. The only good thing is that it's in stone mountain Park and the staff was friendly and professional. Would I return... absolutely NOT.

started a disaster. The Inn should be leveled and rebuilt. Hallway and rooms are nasty and smell bad. was advised by the help that if we use the pool to be sure to take a shower after because of the mold in the pool. upon entering the room we found the bathroom nasty and unkept with 3 wooly hairs in the tub and a turd floating in the toilet. I took pictures and showed management. Here is the good. Julie offered us to stay at the other Hotel (Resort) on the property Expedia never mentioned. Tamiracle took us in like we were her parents and we had a most awesome weekend and stay.

We were in town for the laser show and fall festival. This hotel was right across the street, so we walked to and from the hotel with no problems. It’s sad they didn’t have breakfast, but the convenient of being across the street made it worth it to stay here.

It was cool for the price I got it for, I can't see paying anything more than $70 for the stay. Property super outdated. Wifi didn't even konnect. Ice machine never worked however nonetheless it was cool.

The property itself was fine. It’s pretty outdated and needs a lot of work…but, the room was HUGE. The beds were comfy. Check-in was smooth, and the location couldn’t have been better. We would definitely stay here again.

We would stay there again because it’s such a convenient location to all the activities at Stone Mountain. However, since the last time we were there, the quality of the hotel has declined. We were sad to see that the restaurant is no longer open. Check-in took a while and the rooms could use some updates. This is a great in and a perfect location, so I hope they are able to make some changes to keep it a nice place to stay.

This was likely the worst accommodation experience I've ever had. We arrived at the motel (NOT inn/hotel) to discover that the photographs presented are probably 2-3 DECADES old. The property was clearly outdated and needed maintenance. Upon checking in, we overheard (but were never told directly) that the pool was not available because they couldn't clean it, and no dining services were available anywhere in the park. We drove around the building to our room where we discovered broken sidewalks, rusty stairs, and deep-set puddles where water had been dripping from something on the second floor or perhaps the roof. Upon entering the room, the lights flickered on and off, and the bathroom lights would not stay on. The was a cockroach on the floor and some of the globes over the sink were missing. The light switches randomly worked and would constantly crackle to the point that I was afraid to turn them on. There was no hot water. We quickly discovered that the patio door was broken as well, with large gaps between the frame and glass. We tried calling the front office, but we had already been told that the clerk would leave for the night after the last guest checked in, and the park would be locked. At checkout, the clerk dismissed my claims but finally told me that I could drive to their other property several miles away if I wanted to see a manager. Stay away! Stay far away!

Our visit was perfect. The hotel room was very spacious. The pool was great. The front desk was having trouble with the computers when we checked in but it did not delay our check in. The staff was friendly. We didn’t need food so I do not know about that part. Overall a very enjoyable stay. We definitely will book here again when in the area.

First the good points: Location was convenient for seeing the drone show in the evening. The room was quite large and we enjoyed the rocking chairs on the balcony. Now the bad points: When we tried to check in around 5pm we were told that our room was not ready due to an issue with housekeeping. They said we would be called when our room was ready, which was about an hour later. Several people were told the same. One woman had been waiting/driving around the park for 2 hours with a cranky toddler in the back seat. Another couple was camped out on the lobby couch waiting. Based on the number of cars in the lot, the hotel appeared to be barely occupied, so I don't understand why there weren't plenty of rooms ready. I will say that the front desk person was friendly and doing her very best to deal with the unhappy guests. The hotel did have a bar, but it was closed. I was told the hotel was opened only for accomodations. And a couple of comments about the drone show (which was the reason we chose to stay there). The show started with a video, which had the bottom half of the video chopped off. Then the drone show only lasted a few minutes due to technical issues. The fireworks were nice. But what was suppose to be a 45 minute show, was only about 15 minutes.
