We booked this hotel at the last minute to be close to shopping in Buckhead. It was not well-suited for our family. It would be more appropriate for young singles or couples.

I would like to apologize for the issues you experienced during your stay with the hotel atmosphere not being as you expected.
Our brand platform at W Hotels is to provide a lively atmosphere that is also edgy and fun. We do have a DJ in the Living Room (Lobby) every Friday and Saturday night for our weekly Music.Mix.Mingle event. We also have Whiskey Blue, our rooftop bar with skyline views of Atlanta, which is typically a very lively atmosphere, especially on the weekends. We also have a DJ at the WET Deck (our pool area) every Sunday for the weekly SUNDAZE event.
Starwood Hotels is a very large company and each brand under the Starwood umbrella (W, Westin, Aloft, Le Meridian, Sheraton, St. Regis, etc) has a distinctly different brand image.
The Westin focuses on healthy lifestyle, Le Meridian is worldly charm, while W Hotels focus more on what’s New and Now; Hip and Modern. As a W Hotel, having a lively club atmosphere at the rooftop lounge and attracting the kind of patrons who enjoy a dance club atmosphere on the weekends is a part of our brand image. I’m sorry this was not what you were expecting.
Our hotel does have much more of a business clientele at our hotel on the weekdays.
We strive to continuously improve our hotel and feedback like yours helps us to achieve this.
