Nice port in a storm

Pros: The staff and the restaurant.
Cons: Eventually will need some improvements, in that it is an older hotel, but everything was comfortable and clean.
Location: Had to drive to most things so did not see much due to the gas worries. There is a Waffle House next door which was our go to place for breakfast.
We came here to evade Hurricane Irma. We were glad we did! The staff was great, the restaurant very good. Staff at the restaurant were so good! Friendly, remembered our preferences and gave us a few good laughs during a trying time.

Good place to get away from the storm

Like many of the other guests, our family was fleeing from the approaching category 4 hurricane. That being said, options were very limited especially when traveling with a pet, 2 adults, and 3 small children. For the cost ($209 per night), the hotel was ok; I'm sure supply and demand drove the price up. If that is the usual cost of the hotel, it definitely would not be our first, second, or third option when visiting Atlanta, Georgia again. However, The hotel staff members were absolutely amazing and accommodating, especially the day time staff! They made us feel right at home.

Convenient to most of North Atlanta area, clean rooms and friendly staff. Chad at the front desk is the man over there and can help you out with any issue with your stay.

Close to SunTrust Park and The Battery

Cons: Keep the Bar open.
Great staff. Great shuttles to events. Nothing else within walking distance to do, however. The bar at the facility closes way too early on a Saturday night.

Frustrating Stay

Checking into our room the keys didn't work, stood in line for another few minutes and given new keys with no apology (which is fine), got back to room and it was not the room we paid for and smelled faintly of cigarette smoke. Went back and stood in line for another few minutes and told them we had the wrong room. New room keys issued after a few minutes with no apology. Got to new room and it once again smelled of cigarette smoke. This time my pregnant wife went and spoke with the manager, she assumed, and was told to 'calm down'. After being given another room key she was asked not to come back to the lobby and to just call from the hall phone if we had any more problems and they would come up. The room smelled a little dingy but no more problems except I asked if they had any extra pillows for the children sleeping on the sofa bed and they said they would bring them to the room. We waited about 20 minutes and I went back and asked if they had had any luck with the pillows. It seemed as if the first gentleman had forgotten and whispered something to another gentleman who promised to bring the pillows himself. Housekeeping dropped them off instead about 10 minutes later. I realize that hotel staff are busy but we certainly felt like the staff did not really care about us as we have felt during other stays at other great hotels. We will be taking our business elsewhere next time. A frustrating stay for sure.

Nice hotel

The hotel staff were dry at check-in and I wasn't given the option on which payment method I wanted to use for my incidentals, so I had to wait for four days on the funds to be debited back to my card. Once we got to the room, we immediately smelled smoke and it clearly was a nonsmoking room. Called front desk and the agent asked if I wanted my room refreshed???? Overall this was my second stay at the hotel and I'll stay there again.

Nice Hotel in a business district

This is my second stay here since last summer. I was impressed by the quality and the rate once again. We love Atlanta! Older lady with blonde highlights at check in was very rude and appeared unpolished. I requested early check in a day in advance, approved by Jeffery. He was awesome by the way! When we arrived he wasn't there and so I advised the older woman. She says without even looking up at me "There are people ahead of you and check in is at 3", it was 2:20 and I was technically late for my 12:30 check-in request. There was no line as I had walked right up to the desk, bag caddy trailing behind me. Ultimately, completely disregarding the arranged check-in. Without getting really upset we took a shot of Crown Royal in celebration of our anniversary and thank God Jeffery arrived 10 minutes into waiting and got us checked in immediately. Immediately! Advised us, he expected us hours ago and our room had already been prepared bc of the requested check-in. What a shame if we had to wait 40 min after a 6 hour drive from NC! Again, this was my second stay at this location, last year was beautiful. This year, my mouth is a bit salty. Wyndham staff should hospitable and never rude, it is the Wyndham. The household name rings bells. To be honest I am quite shocked. Your loss for next year Wyndham! Oh yeah purchase your gas before you arrive in this area, almost 20 cents higher compared to other places in ATL. Waffle House next door is clean, yummy, and staff is very courteous.

Great Hotel close to many things

Pros: That it was very clean and updated.
Location: Eating places, banks, grocery store are all right across the street.
The hotel was very nice and was close to many eating places,banks, gas stations, grocery stores and many more places. I will definitely stay again.

Beware This is not your normal Wyndham!!

Beds are super small and hotel is hot. A/C doesn't work well. It's an older hotel that they are trying to Remodel. We were there for a softball tournament, had a black gentleman approach one of our girls and then followher to her room asking who she was there with. He then waited in the hall for her to come out. This was reported to the front desk and hotel security and we were told that this guy frequents the hotel and he is not a guest and they have been trying to catch him. They said they have had several reports of the same thing happening. Very Scary! Watch your kids closely. Then one of our players purchased a new pair of Nike shoes and the next day we checked out. She left the shoes in the box and left them in the room. Checked out and remembered she left her shoes. We called front desk immediately and was told as soon as housekeeping gets in they can check. Guess what, housekeeper said nope she didn't see them. Shame on them. I give this hotel 1 star because beds are almost the size of twins, rooms are hot, hotel staff is not helpful and security seems to be an issue plus housekeeping steals.
