Not worth the money...try other hotels on the stri

When I arrived on 12/20/2016, immediately there were problems with the cleanliness of my first room, so I was moved to a second room that was barely cleaner than the last ( which had hairs in the bathtub, toilet seat, and stains on the mirror, in addition the carpet had not been properly vacuumed). The second room, as I mentioned was cleaner but the television did not work, the comforter smelled like cigarette smoke and neither of the two telephones were in working condition ( this , I discovered, in the midst of a shower), my fiancee had to use his cell phone to call down to the front desk!! After an unsuccessful attempt at fixing the television, the staff member gave up, and I was switched to a third room that was better, but I had wasted a total of two and a half hours of my booked stay!!!! I informed the front desk the following morning,of all the details and inconveniences of the night before, so as to to discuss some agreeable compensation , and was assured that a manger would contact me the following day, 12/22/2016. I allowed two days to go by, with no response from the hotel manager, "Ray", as I was only given his first name, and I called back. I was then reassured that the manger would get back to me immediately after the holiday (Christmas), and as of today, January 8, 2017, I have heard nothing!!
