Everything about the hotel was fine except the price, it was definitely over priced. The grounds were beautiful but the room itself was small. It offered many extras ( golf, spa, etc. ) but the actual room was quite small for the money.

Can't wait for the hotel to complete renovations. Just not the same since Marriott sold it. Everything is old and worn. Poor mildew smell throughout. Peeling paint. Understaffed in bars. Valet brought wrong car up. After staying here 20 times before we were very disappointed--especially since we recommended it to friends we traveled with. Couldn't get a cab to AC in less than half hour!

The hotel had a lot of charm with a beautiful location over looking the golf course. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. Check in was very quick and the valet attendants were friendly. The location is great for exploring Historic Smithville and Atlantic City. Only complaint would be there was an event going on in the lobby, bar and pool area the night we were there. I was extremely disappointed we were not able to use the indoor pool because of this event, I just wish the hotel would have notified us in advance because that was the main reason I choose this hotel. Otherwise I would go back in a heartbeat!
