Upon entering the building it was musty... I am sensitive to mold and can sense air quality. We were first given a room in the older section which had worse air quality than the entry. We mentioned this to the girl at the desk and she immediately gave us a room in the newer section. It was nice but a long walk to the elevator. The staff were exceptional and the cleanliness was good. We purchased on Expedia at 175. and upon checkout it was about 225. which was a surprise. I don't think we will go again just because of the air quality. The building is old and beautiful stately when you pull up! If the air quality was good and big beautiful fresh flowers in the entry it would be a grand hotel. Food was ok... again finishing touches and air quality was the issue... staff was amazing.

Habitación limpia, colchón cómodo. Lo único que no me gustó fueron las almohadas. Publican un precio y al momento de pagar agregan fees que no estaban inicialmente. El precio que aparecía en expedia era de $130 por noche y terminé pagando $254 fees

Hotel blankets were dingy bathtub bathroom floors were full of hair furniture to be upgraded. Microwave in the lobby was also dirty,room rug was dirty.

This is a very nice resort hotel with great amenities and large comfortable rooms. Pet friendly room was remarkably clean and the bed was very comfortable. Loved the pool (perfect temperature) Staff was really nice especially Lucy the housekeeper. Sweetest lady ever. Convenient to have restaurants on site. Food was good at every meal. Loved the history of the building. A great stay if you like AC but don’t necessarily want to stay there.

Nice property overall but poor lighting in room, no shampoo in bathroom and inconvenient self-park locations and capacity were notable negatives.

Front desk staff not friendly! Was checking out this morning and front desk person was eating at desk never made eye contact . Very unprofessional! Wedding was held at hotel last night could hear bass bumping in my room until after midnight!

The hotel staff very hungry
I checked into the hotel on December 31, 2023 and checked out on January 3, 2024. When I arrived at the reception, I was greeted by a bald elderly man. I started to register for a room and asked him if we could get a room upgrade in exchange for advertising the hotel on our social media profiles. He started yelling and nervously answering that there is no one available and how could I not pay for an upgrade. After this unpleasant conversation, I asked to see some rooms but was refused at first. Eventually though, he asked his colleague to show me some room options. I selected a larger room and paid for the upgrade. The hotel staff appeared very hungry - everyone was asking for tips without providing any service.

Our front desk concierge at check in was possibly the best, happiest, most helpful individual I have ever met. My daughter also commented on how nice and kind to everyone she was. Top shelf service with a smile.

One of our lamps did not turn on and the bathroom was dark. We stayed three days and two nights and no one came to clean the room the whole time.

The hotel is classic golf resort, old school. Thanksgiving buffet was excellent. Indoor pool was open late, uncrowded and the perfect temperature. Outdoor fire pit for smoking cigars! Clean, quiet. Just what we needed.
