The rooms were clean and well appointed. The location was excellent, near the Prado, Reina Sophia and the Atoche train station. The staff were incredibly kind and generous, providing a warm environment.

Nice rooms, staff, amenities, and convenient
I stayed in a newly renovated 7th floor room with a private terrace with views of Madrid and an outdoor shower, table with chairs and umbrella/sun shade. The room was great. It had an ironing board with iron, mini-fridge, spa tub, tea kettle, views from the bathroom and bedroom, external shutters for light blocking and as an extra barrier against street noise—however, noise was never a problem. I slept super-well. The 7th floor is the top floor so you also needn’t worry about noise from above. This was my third or four stay at this hotel. In the past, I always asked for an interior room facing away from the street, as I am a light sleeper and noise sensitive, but this room was way better. I love the location of this hotel. It’s convenient and in the heart of things but on a not-too-busy street. It’s an easy 7-minute walk from Atocha train station, a few minutes walk to the metro, a few minutes walk to the Reina Sofia Art Museum, which always my first stop in Madrid (so I can visit Picasso’s painting, “Guernica”). It’s close to restaurants, ATMs, cafes, the Prado and Retiro Park. A well-stocked Corte Ingles Super Cor mini-mart is just steps down the block, if you desire snacks, a fine wine, or ready made salad. The staff is kind, friendly and helpful. If English is your only language, don’t worry, they’re perfectly fluent. I would recommend this hotel.

Convenient location to train station. Modern hotel and rooms. Noisy but normal for city hotel. Easy check in and check out. We just stayed one night arriving on train and going to airport early in the morning.

When we checked in to this property on Saturday, October 14, ( through a different website), they told us we did not have this reservation! Therefore, we stayed somewhere else because when we tried to confirm with Travelocity ( through email and telephone) we were told we had no upcoming reservations!!! You told us that you didn't know if you were going to stay the night of the 16th and for that reason we didn't charge and we explained to you that if you wanted to cancel you had to do it through expedia. You didn't cancel the second reservation and that's the reason you were charged. This form is for us to answer about your stay experience. Okay, the hotel follow the rule of not giving Marriot elite member elite perks because I booked through Expedia. I even talked to their front desk manager with no success. Two days ago, in Amsterdam, same booking through Expedia, they gave all Elite perks. For Marriot elite members, skip this hotel if possible if you want to book through Expedia.

El personal fue muy amable y servicial, nos apoyaron con varias dudas que teníamos, la cama muy cómoda y el tamaño de la habitación bastante bien, muy cerca de la central de atocha

The staff is very friendly and the hotel is excellent. Although you are near to Atocha station the hotel is not close to all the tourist attractions and there is not restaurants or bars around the area.
