Being in Auburn for an event that required staying in the town made the options limited. The hotel is unfortunately outdated and relatively disappointing for the price.

Front desk clerk was the best I've encountered. Air/heating unit hard to control. Either too cold or too hot. Worth the money and would go again.

Leaving out the personal details, I can say I was unhappy with the service at the front desk.

An Honest ReviewPosted Oct 2, 2016
Pros: The location. The motel style. The price.
Cons: Maybe some ketchup for the b-fast burritos? Maybe some more fruit?
Location: There are plenty of restaurants, stores and shops near by.
I read the other "gripey reviews" and decided to book anyway and form my own opinion. Here is the truth. The motel style is very desirable to me. Easy to load and unload. The location was very convenient. And the price was, I thought, extremely reasonable. Yes there was some noise from a train. But that didn't bother me. Yes the motel itself is somewhat dated. But once again that didn't bother me. We had everything we needed and it was clean and comfortable for a great price. The heating and cooling unit for the room worked almost too well. I have stayed at higher end places where this system was on it's last leg. The microwave, the TV and the mini fridge were also in great shape and looked brand new. The staff was also very friendly. The complementary breakfast was adequate, especially when you consider the price. The same style of breakfast is offered at other places that charge alot more. I felt that it was a fairly priced, decent place to stay if you don't require the Taj Mahal with a full wait staff and personal chef. If I visit my friends in Indiana next year. I already know that I will stay at Days Inn again. Thank you Days Inn for making my affordable stay pleasant and enjoyable. The money I saved here enabled me to maximize my vacation dollars and do more. Thanks again.

Nice BreakfastPosted Jul 28, 2016 on Hotels
Clean room, nice typical Days Inn just off the highway, lots of restaurants and stores within a block. Wifi did not work the night of my visit, which was a pain because I couldn't plan the next day's route without access to the internet. Breakfast was good, waffles, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, apples and oranges, toast and bagels, cereals, and lots of drink options.
