Staff very nice-hotel not clean

We travel with dogs so LaQuinta is usually a first choice. There is much variety in LaQuintas from top end quality to Very low quality. The Auburn LaQuinta is more toward the latter. Pros: Room was big, staff was very friendly and personable and the public areas were updated. Cons: carpet in room was dirty and worn (no bare feet), bath needed updating; stained toilet seat, creaky bath tub, low water pressure in shower. For just short of $200 per night, facilities should be upgraded and clean.

Very nice room

We booked the room about 15 minutes before arriving and we had a nice King suite. We were very happy with the room. Had everything we needed.

Old and outdated

The hotel is old and somewhat outdated. Bedroom reeked of cigeratte smoke. Too much noise from the freeway. Hotel staff were great. Great shower and comfortable bed.

Not Sure i'll Be Returning Until Changes Are Made

I was very specific about receiving non-smoking room an immediately upon entering I was overwhelmed by the smoky aroma. Was reassured at front desk all rooms were non-smoking so i accepted my fate. Old style ground AC units were loud and didn't cool room so I was never able to sleep comfortably. Bath tub was insert style with floor of tub not affixed to base of tub properly. Potentially dangerous condition and definitely awkward standing in shower. Main entry door would not shut behind me unless I pulled in manually. Potential security concern.

Our room was a smokers room.

Cons: Do not call your facility a smoke free environment. Clearly it is not!
This room was a smokers room. Was clean but the smell of cigarettes was over bearing. We were offered a bottle of air freshener for the problem. We will not be back.

I appreciate your feedback. We do not allow any guest to smoke in a room and we address the issue and remove the guest if we are aware someone is smoking in a room. Midway between events.

Pros: Great breakfast.
Cons: Nothing. They were perfect.
Location: Next to several major highways and eateries.
I loved the Hotel. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

Nice hotel that allowed us to bring our dog!

Cons: Shower/tub sunk in in the middle and was a bit scary. I survived but room 226 needs to be looked at.
Everyone there was super nice. Especially Claudette in the breakfast room - a true angel!! Yes the lobby had a smell of cigarettes, but out room did not. Very nice room.

Best hotel I have been to in years

Pros: Hair Dryer, iron, shower with plenty of hot water and good pressure
Location: We were there for only one night. We did order take out, and that aarrived quickly, and the delivery charge was nominal
Our room was clean and comfortable. And it was complete! Had iron and ironing board, hair dryer, coffee maker, plenty of towels, and the shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. The free breakfast had lots of options, and a staff member was there to assist and to be sure nothing ran out. This is my dream hotel!
