The room seemed clean but it's hard to sleep when a roach crawls across your TV screen as you're watching it at night. :(

Pros: The Comfort, Cleanliness and Value
Cons: I asked for a wake-up call, but never received it.
Location: As I mentioned, its quite convenient to Auburn University and there's lots of shopping/casual dining in proximity to the location.
I really wasn't expecting much from an "Econolodge" and the outside, though recently painted, was still a little "sketchy" looking. (the parking lot was steps away from the back of a waffle house). That said, when I opened the door to my room, I was very pleasantly surprised. The 2 queen beds were VERY comfortable, with LOTS of pillows and nice bedding - And the room was extremely clean. There was a new flatscreen TV on the wall and a nice min-fridge and microwave. There was plenty of coffee "mix" and they had good shampoo/conditioner samples (and re-filled them daily). The location was extremely convenient to Auburn University and it was a great value!

Stayed for a university related activity. Thankful my sister could go with me because I would have felt extremely uncomfortable as a woman staying by myself. Several construction workers were staying there and to no surprise, they loved to gawk and stare while hanging out on the walkways outside their rooms. Maybe the atmosphere would be different during football season, but nonetheless I don't plan on staying there again.
