Thank you for your feedback, our team will work to improve our service offering. In terms of pricing, normally November, Feb, and March are the busiest and thus most expensive months.

Nice hotel close to Sky City

Posted Nov 13, 2017
Pros: Close to Sky City.
Cons: Breakfast provided without a charge.
Location: Close to Sky City.
Friendly staff. Allowed us to check in early at no extra charge. Breakfast available, but not included. Walking distance to Sky City ( Sky Tower) 5-7 minutes from hotel. Area outside of hotel is a little sketchy, but ok during daylight hours.

Thanks for your valuable feedback. The Auckland City Mission across the road supports the underprivileged, and we have not had any incidents with them in the 9 years the hotel has operated.

nice stay but wasn't great for me

Posted Oct 15, 2017
Pros: Nice, clean and modern.
Cons: Hot water to the shower.
Location: Queen st, metro entertainment centre, k rd.
I didn't read the room type on my booking and I was told only a twin room is offered on expedia, the manger checking me was correct and I didn't argue but it was a lesson for me to read things more carefully I guess, she was able to change my room for an extra $40 nzd. The chip on my credit card isn't working and this is the first hotel which wasn't able to just enter the card number or go through the process of chip/swipe/chip/swipe, which wasted a lot of time and I had to give cash in the end for the bond. Again probably my fault for having a faulty chip but every other hotel I've been to has found a way around this and working in retail I know you can. My only other gripe is that the plumbing is off/annoying, you can get extremely hot water from the basin but the shower just put out barely lukewarm water, like room temperature water. Otherwise a nice hotel, modern and clean. Room is up to date and spacious.

Hotel was good but a liitle far from town

Posted Sep 29, 2017
Pros: Staff were friendly and character of hotel/ old world charm was great.
Cons: Windows and sound proofing (external)
Location: Close to the tower and Casino and bus Depot.
Room was good but a window wasnt sealed properly so a bit whistly and drafty. Lost property works well! The staff were very friendly. We were up the hill a little out of town which is a short walk to the Tower and Casino, but a long walk to the Bay and the main shops. We walked everywhere but wouldn,t recommend for children or elderly. Parking was expensive but closer than draging you bags from Wilsons. Overall was OK
