Centrally located, easy access to everything!

Pros: Relaxed and conveniently located. People are friendly.
Cons: Room cleaning was a bit strange. One day the room was made but no towels; twice the cleaning staff left their access card in the room after cleaning?!
Location: Near the sky tower, AA office, walking distance to downtown, some restaurants nearby
Hotel staff very polite and helpful. Room is spacious and quiet. Parking is easy and secure. Walking distance to everything including the waterfront.

Ideally located hotel. Ten minutes from the Skycity tower and twenty minutes walk to the Harbour. Five minutes from bus terminal for those wanting to go further afield. Clean and comfortable rooms. We did not use the gym facilities but was impressed by the equipment available. Service was excellent throughout from check in to check out.

Well run, centrally located hotel

Pros: The downstairs restaurant has superlative rack of lamb and braised lamb shank. Don’t miss!
Location: 10 minutes walk away are streets full of restaurants. Ask the concierge.
The Grand Millenium is a higher-end full-service hotel in Central Auckland. Staff was uniformly helpful and pleasant. Against this already commendable background, Subina stood out particularly. She ran the Millenium Club on the top floor with grace, poise, warmth, and a great deal of organization. We arrived at the club early, and 15 minutes before the scheduled start of service arrived Subina with all the supplies. Exactly at the scheduled start of service, she was ready to cordially welcome guests, making sure all were promptly supplied with desired food and drink. Whoever made the decisions to hire her and promote her to Club Manager deserves to be commended. Rooms were welcoming and clean; bedding was comfortable, bathrooms well appointed. We were impressed enough to come back for an extra day after a trip to Dunedin.

One night in Auckland

Very friendly check in. We were upgraded to a suite so we had so much space. Very centrally located downtown. We enjoyed our stay.

Terrible stafff,inept manager, room needs updating

Horrible staff, not all but about 95% of the ones I dealt with including the manager. Room needed updating, alarm clock didn’t work, Japanese restaurant in hotel served me raw tempura batter and vegetables were not fresh. Will never stay at this brand hotel ever again. Computer down at checkout so no receipt available..it was totally ridiculous!

it nice and clean. it is OK for temporary stay. location is good. i was several minutes late for check out time,someone just came and knocked my door. it feels not so uncomfortable
