Useful stop near Auckland airport

Pros: Breakfast.
Cons: Internet. 200MB was offered but about 10MBcould be used as the system was overloaded.
Location: One suburb away from the airport. No activities unless you want to watch planes.
Arriving very late, we tried to phone the hotel to confirm that we would be coming. I was unable to hear the gentleman on the phone, so couldn't get directions for the shuttle bus. The bathroom lights didn't work at all, and past midnight, not worth asking about, as a sleep was the priority. Breakfast was excellent. My paperwork said the continental breakfast was free, and also the shuttle bus, but we were charged for both.

Really bad Service

Receptions are very rude and have bad service. They are no help to guests and treat everyone like crap. Worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Do not recommend staying at this place.

Shuttle to and from airport is convenient for those only needing a place to soend the night while waiting for next flight.

TV Sky not working

Pros: Close to airport
Cons: Service.
Location: Ntr
I asked the man on night shift to show how to change tv to sky channel but couldn't explain, very abrupt. Then say he will physically come and show but never turn up. Also free internet does not last long.

Airport transit hotel

Pros: Location to airport.
Cons: Not a destination for a holiday.
Location: Didn't leave, rough part of Mangere.
Okay if you are transiting through the airport. Hotel is nothing flash, but clean and well located to airport.

Pros: The restaurant
Location: A 10 minute drive to the international airport
Nice enough for a short stay, room was clean and tidy, restaurant was a very good meal although the service was the usual poor NZ standard

The staff should be more accommodating...

Its hard to get to the second floor with all the luggages. Maybe a lift can be considered. Provision for wifi connection should be unlimited and not restricted to just 200mb.

Hotel handy to airport

Pros: Convenient to airport and having a restaurant.
Cons: I think curtains would make the room seem warmer instead of the roller blind.
Location: Not applicable
Room was cool. Heat pump did not seem to work properly. Found a small fan heater in the room which helped. Roller blind in bathroom did not roll all the way down, so had to have a shower in the dark.

Pros: How quiet it was, that staff were available most times.
Cons: Didn't feel the need to look at things that way.
Location: Close to all amenities which was great.
Enjoyed our stay there, just needed a clean and tidy place to sleep. Staff were available all hours of the morning and night. Very courteous. Would definitely recommend this place to others. We will be staying there in the future as well provided there is availability.
