Nice hotel close to shopping.Posted Jul 7, 2015 on Wotif
Cons: I think $35.00 for valet parking is quite steep
had a weekend away with my sister so close to shopping, casino and waterfront.

I was a nice hotel with friendly and efficient staff. The hotel is not a luxury hotel but is definitely somewhere is would stay again when making a vist to friends in Auckland. Clean room, friendly staff and good value for money.

Wonderful stay in CityLife AucklandPosted Jun 14, 2015 on Hotels
it was very spacious and clean. Front desk personnel were very courteous and helpful. There was a very well-supplied kitchen (which we did not use) and in room washer-dryer. The sitting area was very comfortable. It is in a nice location in the central business district and very close to many excellent restaurants, sky city, bus lines.

Another Night at CitylifePosted Jun 7, 2015 on Hotels
I have Stayed at CityLife many times before and expected to have a washer and dryer in the room however as we had booked a Studio we ended up with just a small bedroom that had been locked off from an Apartment. This was a little disappointing. The location is great and the hotel in general is good. I have no issue paying good money for accommodation and parking however it is annoying when hotels charge a credit card surcharge which you know is higher than the commission they pay to the bank. It costs businesses to bank cash these days. Maybe we should all go out and roll up with $20 notes which in turn will cost hotels to bank. They can't pass these charges on to the customer. I don't believe there should be credit card fees as it's just part of doing business, it's safe and secure.

City life is a Tru representation of this hotelPosted Jun 7, 2015 on Wotif
We stayed here for a weekend away but I would not stay again. We got woken up by the crazy antics from the club next door between 2-4am. The room was clean but small. Gym and pool facilities adequate.
