I chose this hotel because it’s a good price for the area it’s in. It’s walkable to everything CBD (train station, ferry, shopping, Sky Tower). The room was like an apartment with a small bedroom and kitchenette. It could’ve been a bit cleaner - there were stains on carpet and shower curtain, hair in corners of bathroom. Rooms are not sound proof whatsoever and there were very noisy guests one weekend. Overall it was fine, and I’d stay here again if I was travelling on a budget.

The Indian woman who worked the night of the 28/03 was horrible. If I could have got a refund that night we would have left but unfortunately our booking wasn’t refundable. She needs retraining, she admitted to a customer in front of me that she could have faked to him that there were no rooms available out of spite as he was just overwhelmed and eager to get a room for rest but she wanted him to give her a better attitude. She had no patience for him as he did her and my husband and I thought we’d just walked into a minor situation so we patiently waited for them but we then got dragged into it and then she gave us attitude when we were ready to check in. All the male workers from there were amazing! Also the hotel supplies a mini bar of chips and chocolate and other small snacks. That cost $5 each and higher it’s actually horrendous. Our swimwear that were in our towels were taken from our room so we had to track them down, I will never be back.

Doesn’t have internal locks (so it only locks from the outside) didn’t even have a safe or a pen in the room and in a double bed room, we had two beds placed together. Certainly not the worst hotel ever but could have gotten something same quality but cheaper :(

The reason why I chose this hotel is it’s near the cruise port. But it is not walkable with luggage as there are flights of stairs to climb to get to the cruise port. Having to use a taxi to cruise port, there are many much better options for this rate.

Sorry to say that we were not impressed with your property. There were some good aspects such as the kitchen facilities and the spaciousness of the room. The beds were also comfortable. Your location is also good and close to facilities and places of interest. As for the rest, not impressed at all even moreso when you consider the price we paid. Tiles were cracked throughout the kitchen and bathroom. Drapes were all hanging loose and very difficult to close. The bathroom was not clean with sealant hanging of the bottom of the shower door. Tap discharge from the sink in the bathroom spurted everywhere. Breakfast should be included not the extra $25 per person. When you provide kitchen facilities surely a small table and chairs to eat your meal should be provided. Your staff do not appear happy and seemed rather surly, a total contradiction to the happy people we met elsewhere in Auckland. I have taken photos to confirm what I'm saying. We stayed in room 510.

Have stayed many times here. However, this might be the last Room was on level 1 very very noisy, on site it say view but no only a view of a tree, something on the back or bathroom door. i hope it was just dirt! Was a let down this time!

Would definitely stay here again. Conveniently close to everything you need in the city. A very easy four minute walk to Queen street. Staff were very accommodating and the place just had a great vibe. Social, while remaining respectful to guest's privacy.

Great Place to Stay in Central Auckland
Great place located near to harbour and Skycity and walking distance to the city centre. Great indoor pool, sauna and spa which are clean and modern. Staff are super friendly and very helpful. Would recommend this place.

the bathtub location is odd, is too high and narrow space for shower. bathtub should be replaced. stayed two nights and staff didn't fill up the coffee and milk. for such a high price, it's not worth it.

Rooms were unexpectedly large. Quiet on the 3rd floor, except for the odd noisy motorbike passing. Decor a bit dated but it had everything needed. Close to the wharf and casino. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Very poor hotel - wouldn't recommend. It is very dated and run down. For example; the vinyl flooring planks were lifting, the bathroom door latch wouldn't close, the kitchen basin mixer was completely loose, the TV was dusty and the kettle didn't work. One staff member was friendly but the other we dealt with was aloof. We raised our concerns during our stay and was offered another room.

No one mentioned the hours for continental breakfast so we missed it by minutes!! Feel like the $44 should be refunded! Took 4 days for my deposit to be paid back in to my acc!!
