As far as airport properties go it’s OK. The kitchen is unable to cater for so many guests so be prepared for a long wait and very average dining for the price. It’s very clean but the room is not very well laid out for suitcases and the aircon was either too cold, warm or noisy. Fine for 1 night stays and business travellers but plan you eating somewhere else until they fix the kitchen, the restaurant fills up like a cruise ship buffet full of hungry boomers.

Novetel is right in the Auckland airport even though there is building going on within the airport you do not hear any noise. We had dinner at their in house restaurant last night and the food was delious. Biggest problem was getting parking for our guests as the carparks are torn up for renovations and the hotel staff did not know where they could park. The bathroom in the room wad surpurb and the shower was wondeful I would recommend hotel to any one who is travelling overseas.

Wonderful stay, room spotless, bed super comfy, no plane noise. Gave four stars for area around property because of construction but that is not the fault of the hotel. You couldn’t be any closer to the airport very easy to drop rental car off, walk to hotel and then straight across to the international terminal. Great for an early morning flight. The room was nicely stocked with shampoos, etc. and the minibar and coffee area was thoughtfully supplied. Would stay there again.

Difficult signage on the approach, I missed the entrance on the first pass and had to go around again. And on leaving was unable to make the tight turn after the drop off and had to back up and go the other way. Easy enough in a small to medium car but in anything bigger very tight. The hotel was great in all other respects.

We arrived into Auckland after midnight and it was great to be able to walk to the Novotel where we were warmly welcomed. The room was great as was the gymnasium. The breakfast buffet was bountiful and tasty.

Stayed here many times. Very expensive but convenient. Dinner in Thirteen50 restaurant was excellent. Getting to hotel was a nightmare. Very hard finding access road. Blocked by construction work. Signs confusing. Should have been better briefing with map. Almost got fined unloading car in wrong place. Nasty people.

Handy for access to the international airport. Great breakfast and quick check-in at midnight. Secure left luggage facilities were not in use on the day we were there, but had staff monitoring the area. Would use again.

We were flying to Sydney early and this hotel was perfect to stay over and just walk a couple of steps to the airport. Room was very comfortable and clean. At the restaurant in hotel we enjoyed a delicious chicken and mushroom soup with a glass of wine.

This hotel is top notch. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. The restaurant was INCREDIBLE! Sound proof rooms are no joke, didn’t hear a plane our entire stay. Would recommend over and over again.

Good for the night but super expensive. Great staff and great coffee at the bar. Walkable to the local supermarket and eateries. Lots of construction as always. Auckland Airport is always y der construction but you couldn’t hear a thing inside the hotel
